The Evil Council vs. The Felbeast: 4 vs. 4 battle.

Kovina, on the ground, felt Mortracta's roots tunneling towards him and rolled to the side, between the center root and the root on the north side.

"Halt!" Zerrer called, bringing himself to back consciousness on pure determination. He then spoke directly to HollowEyes "Those points you brought up- the ones my sword ignored- Were correct and logical." Struggling to get up onto his knees, he lay Raige onto the ground.

"I cede victory to you and your council."

"Smart move... One I'd have expected you to make several minutes ago." HollowEyes said smugly. Pleased that they'd come through to end this with a victory, the Second-in-Command took a moment to address his fellow Council members. ~All Council members stand down - the Felbeasts have surrendered and no longer wish to fight. Victory for this skirmish goes to the Evil Council, well done to all of you.~

Truth be told, HollowEyes was a little relieved that things had gone this well. Going into the fight, he'd strongly felt that the conditions favoured the Felbeasts - a group with fewer members was forcing a much larger group to fight them with equal numbers... It was their best chance for a win against the Council, but thankfully they hadn't managed to pull it off.

Zerrer himself was quite a capable fighter, with an irritating ability to do something completely unexpected to counter you whenever you thought that you had him up against a wall. HollowEyes was almost completely worn out from the fight and his almost constant use of the Onyx Longsword, and so he was greatly appreciative of Mortracta's presence here - had the floral powerhouse not been fighting Zerrer alongside him things might have gone very differently.

But as things were right now, this was a well-earned victory for the Council, so HollowEyes and the other Council members could return to the Cave satisfied with their efforts here today.

Mortracta's roots, expecting to tear into Zerrer, tore nothing but air. As she prepared to rip downward and swallow the entire pentagon of her destruction, something was wrong.

Zerrer's voice came back sounding rational and clear. What had he said, exactly?

Mortracta relaxed. Never had she felt more proud of herself and the group with which she was affiliated. For the first time, the words "my friends" sprang to Mortracta's mind. Friends? Hmmm... maybe. She wasn't too keen on friendship but... the feeling of camaraderie she had right now was simply... too strong to ignore.

Mortracta and her friends, the Evil Council, had won the match.

Mortracta burst through the ground and spewed her chemical message.
