Now for the IC reply to Embri's stonification, which isn't as impressive or heartfelt as some other people's, but hey, that's not what my characters are like, so I can't do anything about that Razz

HollowEyes looked on from a slight distance, bowing his head slightly in reverance to the noble unisus as the petrification process completed. Though he didn't understand her decision himself, he had a lot of respect for Embri, as despite their various run-ins (most of which involved Little Sister) he'd heard of and seen the results of many of Embri's achievements, all of which had made the Dojo a better place. So long as people remembered her for all of the right reasons, regardless of whether she ever decided to return or not, things would probably be okay.

Little Sister watched from another distant location, having spotted Embri in what appeared to be a moment of weakness, but unable to move in quickly enough before she saw what the unisus was doing. ~...Keh.~ The Parasitian shrugged the legendary creature's apparent death off like it was nothing at all and left to find something else to occupy herself with. She cared not for the dead, as her kind only gained power from the living - Embri's death was as meaningless to her as the useless lump of rock that the unisus had become.

((Well, I don't have any current characters that met and remember Embri. But I do know that she was a damn good admin and it's a terrible shame that she's leaving.

~Tired, so very, very tired...~

Snow was melting, not unusual in Psychotopia where the weather was as unpredictable as its inhabitants. What was odd was where the snow was melting, a spreading circle around Embri's statue form.

The statue seemed to shiver slightly, then blink, grey fading to a washed out creme. It was the flaming mare awake again, .... somewhat. Her colour had lost its vibrancy, a pale shadow of her former self.

Dully, she glanced around, grimacing as taught muscles protested her movement. The mare blinked slowly as she stumbled over something that had been left at her hooves. Peering at the plaque with a vague look of confusion, Embri read it. ~Fire...? of the Dojo?~ She mulled this over in her mind for a moment, looking sad.

~Perhaps I was, but there is little fire left these days. Only embers, ashes... the whole world turns to ashes, sooner or later.~

Napping on a treebranch of a particularly large Oak, EnD is disturbed by an irritating commotion happening at Embri's statue. He leans over to see what goes on, and shows no signs of joy or surprise seeing that the beloved 'Fire of the Dojo' has returned. His eyes drift shut once more and he sighs, thinking to himself,

I told them she'd be back. People are always surprised when I turn out to be right every so often. . . . .
