Kafka was a little concerned that a wolf morphffer could force others to become like them and have to eat because of a full moon, which would be an odd way to live he thought. But, not appearing too concerned, "My father and my brother both faught wolf morphffers when they were their age and won with only themselves against five.
A wolf morphffer is notto be worried about, once their dominance is shattered and they realise they can't catch anything with wings, or webs for that matter." He shrugs his shoulders and looks back across his odd assortment of children...

The youngest begins to panic more as he tries to get away from Tala. As she gets closer, his flapping becomes more erratic so that he also has to start swimming as he keeps falling into the water. He thinks all is lost when suddenly his older brother shoots up from the water dragging something with him, that looms closer and closer.
As it breaks through the waters surface, it is obvious that its some jind of boulder attached to the eldest with webbing, masses of webbing as the webbing is quite wet and weak at this moment. His one chance comes and he flies above Tala and jsut lets go of the web he was holding allowing the boudler to drop towards her. He was just hoping this would work.
As he flies through the air, his wings, which appear to be naturally waterproof are already dying out as the last vestiges of water are flicked from the tps of his wings in tiny droplets hitting the waters surface below. He comes around, and flies towards his brother to give him a hand out of the water....
((Tala had that coming... )) _________________ Books are source of knowledge, knowledge source of power, power is source of corruption, corruption is crime.Reading books will get you imprisoned!

Harpy's face contorted into one of pure, unadulterated anger as Kafka brushed a werewolf off as nothing. She wasn't all that worried, but his attitude was enough to get her this way.
The mutant stalked over to Kafka, large green eyes looking as though they were boiling as she raised a finger to point at him.
"You will never survive here if you do not take things like this seriously. Even if you broke every bone in a werewolf’s body and twisted its neck so far around it faced the opposite direction, you could never kill it"
She lowered her hand and walked over to the caves entrance.
"I'm going to make sure they're okay"
She stated as she changed into her eagle form and took off high into the sky.
The silver-haired runt girl watched with a gaping mouth as her mother abandoned her right next to the pretty thing that hurt, leaving her with Kafka and her siblings. She took three steps towards the entrance and then tripped over one of her own wings, landing in a heap on the floor. Tears welled up in her eyes as she felt the first dose of pain.
The grey girl watched Harpy leave with a nonchalant expression, continuing to curl smoke around her hand and keep the cave aired.
Ordell on the other hand, as usual, had more questions.
"Why's she so mad at you? Did you say something bad?"
_____________________________________________________________
Talas snarl and yelp of pain was lost in the gigantic splash the boulder made when it hit both the surface of the water and the top of her head, knocking the werewolf under with force. The five moons of Blackstar shone in the night sky, only one of them full, and the water reflected their various beams of light in its turbulent state.
The Wolf body sank under the rock, but the full moon tonight gave her strength enough that she recovered before she hit the bottom and was crushed there. Only knowing that her prey had escaped and her lungs becoming painful, she doggy paddled out from under the boulder and began as quick an ascent as she could towards the waters surface. _________________ Baker of the radioactive three-eyed flying purple cookie eating brownies!

Kafka had pushed himself as far back from Harpy as he possibly could. She certainly is a fearsome mate. His siblings would be jealous he thouht as she left the cave, flying easily through the dark sky.
As the runt fell over, he watched, and something in him made him quite compassionate, and without even looking, "Not right now Ordell" he says before going over to the little girl and helping her up, "Are you ok?" he asks....
________
The eldest by now had managed to get his brother clear of the water, and safely onto the land. He wasn't sure if the wolf would be hurt or not, and as he didn't fully understand the concept of death, just danger, that thought never crossed his mind.
He was helping his brother to shake of the excess water from his wings and get him as dry as he possibly could, keeping an eye out for any other wolves that may be around, hunting for an easy snack tonight. But from this position, and with the darkness, even improved avian sight would only give a slight advanced warning to some kind of movement... _________________ Books are source of knowledge, knowledge source of power, power is source of corruption, corruption is crime.Reading books will get you imprisoned!

Tears streak down the silver-eyed girls face, marring her appearance as she looks up at her father.
"I don't like this feeling"
She said, meaning the pain she'd sustained when she'd hit the floor. She hadn't broken or cut anything, but the impact had still hurt. She hugged her body with three of her arms while the fourth held on to him, almost as if she was afraid she'd fall over again.
Ordell shrugged and then made his way over to the fire, and looked as if he was about to copy the runts mistake by putting one of his four hands towards it. He quickly withdrew it however when he remembered his mothers words and actions towards his younger sister, instead contenting himself to watch it and the slow cooking meat.
_____________________________________________________________
Harpy's bright green eyes swept across the ground below her, the mutant was using her enhanced eyesight to it's full advantage tonight. Moonlight spilled over the treetops and reflected in ripples of water, but both beneath the trees and close to the treeline it was so dark even her sight could barely make out a hint of movement.
Harpy shrieked in frustration, an unnatural sound in the dark, and startling a lot of prey animals from their slumber into wakeful nervousness.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
First a nose, then pointed ears broke the surface of the water as the werewolf finally reached air. The human-turned-lupine gulped in the air gratefully before coughing and retching, expelling the liquid that had gotten into her lungs.
Her ears pricked forwards interestedly as her nose caught the whiff of bedraggled feathers and skin, her prey from earlier. They were on the bank, on dry ground now. But that still didn't stop Talas currently single minded attitude or objective. She began to paddle towards the eldest and youngest, yellow eyes fixed on the position their scent was coming from. _________________ Baker of the radioactive three-eyed flying purple cookie eating brownies!

Kafka had little experience of looking after young siblings, and with his offspring already being so well developed, he found himself unsure as to if he'd missed out on something, or if he should begrateful that they were already so mature. He didn't know what the runt was talking about, but it was obvious that she's distressed and concerned.
Holding her with two hands, he looks at her, wiping away a tear with a third hand that slowly grows from his side, making him look a bit odd, with his fourth missing. "It'll be ok. Just focus, and take control." That's the advice he and his siblings had been given, and seemed to have worked for every situation, including ambushes.
___________
The youngest becomes still and alert, stiffening his wings, much to the confusion of his elder brother. He's about ask what's wrong when he's quickly silenced. The youngest moves his head towards the water, turning his head slightly. Suddenly, he turns back to his brother, whispering, "It's still alive, we should fly into the trees."
Without hesitation, the eldest takes hold of his brother, who's wings appear to still be slightly damp, and helps up into a tree canopy high above, leaving behind a small collection of feathers, a mixture of downy to full sized feathers scattered about the ground... _________________ Books are source of knowledge, knowledge source of power, power is source of corruption, corruption is crime.Reading books will get you imprisoned!

"O-okay"
The runt said, although she wasn't entirely sure what he meant. The runt concentrated and she soon felt the horrible feeling of pain go away. Behind her though, the meat roasting on the stick began to spin before it lifted off and hung in the air.
The runt had no idea that she was doing it.

Tala reached the waters edge and heaved her soaked body onto the shore. She shook herself hard, so both fur and water went flying and she acquired a somewhat fluffy appearance.
Tala stalked over to where the scent on the floor was strong, and dipped her elongated head down to sniff at the pile of feathers that had been left on the ground.
With the two scents firmly remembered, Tala looked straight up into the trees. Without moving her gaze, she began to back away.
After reaching a suitable spot, the werewolf bounded forwards once again and leapt high into the trees. Spittle flew from her snarling mouth as she cut a path through the air. While she was aiming for the youngest, just landing anywhere close to the two on a high branch would do. _________________ Baker of the radioactive three-eyed flying purple cookie eating brownies!

Kafka finds himself still unsure how to interact with the children. He would have prefered them to be younger, and therefore easier to manage. He wasn't going to tell them that, but he was interested to see just exactly how much they really did know. So without thinking he asks, "How intelligent are you all?"
__________
The eldest had been staring at the water for some time when he'd seen Tala emerge. What he had not expected was for the being to be able to fly so easily through the air as he could. Knowing his brother would notbe able to fly fully just yet, he launches himself in a horizontal line across the nights sky, aiming his trajectory to meet Tala's. At the right moment his two arms form in giant pincers covered in sensitive hairs and bristly barbs.
He reaches down with them both in an attempt to grab Tala's shoulders. The moment the slight transformation had taken place, he'd had to begin to beat his wings slightly faster to maintain his speed. He wouldn't realise it yet, but he'd be glad that his arms were now covered in a thick armour, that the Pantheresks could not penetrate.... _________________ Books are source of knowledge, knowledge source of power, power is source of corruption, corruption is crime.Reading books will get you imprisoned!

The runt girl blinks at her father with her silver eyes, behind her the meat fell back down where it should have been. Ordell and the grey haired girl were likewise staring at him, and the wind that had been helping to air the cave was suddenly gone. The whole cave was silent except for the crackling fire.
Then just as abruptly as the silence had descended, it lifted in an explosion of exclamations from each of the offspring.
"What kind of question is that?" The sentence came from the unnamed grey girl, who narrowed her grey eyes at him.
"What do you mean?" Was the curious question from Ordell, who was staring with more intensity than before.
"We're... we're smart... Smarter than you think" Was the curious answer from the silver runt, who now folded her arms "Why?"
_____________________________________________________________
Harpy shrieked her frustration yet again, she could see perfectly fine except for under the thick trees branches. Not only couldn't she see either of her offspring, but she couldn't smell them either, she was too high up.
The transformed mutant began a large slow circle as she began to descend, hoping to get close enough that she could smell them.
Shortly after she'd began descending, Harpy's eyes picked up movement between the trees. It wasn't perfect, but the avian like creature definitely saw the silhouette of a lupine on a crash course with the silhouette of a large winged being, one of her offspring.
Screeching with a mixture of delight and fury, Harpy folded her golden wings and dived.
_____________________________________________________________
Talas leap had carried her high enough, but the werewolfs mindless focus on the two was broken briefly by a screech from above. Her bloodlust filled mind was brought rapidly back to the task at hand as she felt two large pincers grip her shoulders.
Snarling and growling in a mad rage, the werewolf kicked, twisted, and attempted to bite almost constantly. Saliva and loose fur went flying with speed due to the violence of Talas movements. _________________ Baker of the radioactive three-eyed flying purple cookie eating brownies!

Kafka looks around at all three of the children as they reply to his question with their own question. It was quite clear that Ordell was going to be a slow learner as he still wanted to know everything about everything. Perhaps he may be the smartest eventually, Kafka considers.
In a slightly different approach, "What instincts have you learnt. What do you naturally know?". This was normally a sensible question on his home planet, since instinct was so far bred into geneaology, that intelligence and some knowledge of science, or the high capability of learning it is also carried in the genes. All of his race, what ever they transform into are compared to other cultures, able to cope with advanced genetics.
Kafka at least hoped that they'd know about these lands, as well as know about his homelands and have the right instinct for danger. He looks out towards the night sky, hoping Harpy and the two other offspring are well....
______________
The eldest began to struggle both with Tala's weight, her rage, and the semi-transformation he had intended to keep quiet as long as he possibly could. He digs in hard with his pincers, as hard as he can to keep his grip. With about five to ten final hefty wing beats, he sets himself on a course towards a tree with several sharp branches. Perhaps impalement might end this strange creatures frenzied attack.
The youngest shudders as he hears his mothers screech. Instinct drives him to answer her and fly to her, logic fights back, telling him his wings have not dried and that he would merely glide to the ground, a dangerous place to be it seemed.
The eldest ignored his mothers screeching to focus on his current course of action, not wanting to be caught of gaurd by this unseemly beast. _________________ Books are source of knowledge, knowledge source of power, power is source of corruption, corruption is crime.Reading books will get you imprisoned!

((Ummm... I know how keen you are to continue with this but I don't know how to answer. It would seem Kafkas species instincts are entirely different from any animal or human I could compare them to)) _________________ Baker of the radioactive three-eyed flying purple cookie eating brownies!
