The Cave Moves...

*The pile of cookies was slowly getting smaller and smaller from the inside out as Addman, who was completely out of view, gorged himself stupid.*

((Mysteriously ending up on an island on Earth sounds far too much like Lost. But on the other hand Lost is cool so sure, why not.))

Danikat: So, we've been here a good few minutes and the world outside doesn't seem to have exploded, set on fire, turned upside down or rained anything unplesant. Who's up for exploring it?

*She moves to the entrance of the cave and leans out carefully, looking around for anything overly suspicious. Reassured that she hasn't yet been eaten she prods the ground just outside the cave with one trainer*

Danikat: Arian?....Can you hear me?

Arian: Danikat? Just about, but you're...very faint, its like you're at the far end of a tunnel.
Danikat: That doesn't make sense, we're normally in diffrent dimensions and its never been like this. ((Arian generally stays in Obsidian Cove, Danikat's home dimension.))
Arian: Apparently this one is diffrent. I don't know why.
Danikat: Can the armadillos get here?
Arian:......No. I don't understand it, I can reach you telepathically but I can't tell WHERE you are. I can't send the armadillos to you.
Danikat: Damnit. Alzaranth? Veamoth?
Alzaranth: Danikat! You sound like you're underwater! Why?
Danikat: I don't know. I was in the Cave and now the Cave has moved. When I find somewhere big enough for you to reach I'll see if you can get here.

Kiri nodded with a small grunt and looked outside.
"Look... dry. Ver-"

"WHOO!"

"What the- Panther, don't!"

Panther suddenly jumped hapahazardly out of the cave, eager to explore.
"Oooooh, shiny...." She commented, poking a roundish stone with a stick. The 'stone' twitched and sent the reckless shapeshifter two feet in the air. She poked it again, but cautiously this time.
"Hey, come out little guy...."

Suddenly, the earth split apart as a very large stinger erupted from the ground. In no less than a minute, a giant scorpion had emerged from the ground, stringer poised.

"Uh.....Hi?"

*Cloud woke and instantly knew something was wrong, the wall slime was a dead giveaway. His head felt like it had been hit by a very large table. Getting up he realised it had been hit by a very large table.*

I need to start wearing a helmet around here, it would help a lot with all the strange goings on that occur.

*Cloud walked to the entrance and saw a congregation of people there.*

Anyone care to explain to me why we aren't staring at trees right now? I mean usually there are trees in a forest, especially since I remember looking out here yesterday and seeing trees.

Panther yelps and she dodges the scorpion, tghe jumping to land on Cloud's head.

"Oh. Uh, hi. The entrance has moved. We might be in Kansas, or a desert island, or something. I VOTE FOR CLOUD TO GO OUT AND EXPLORE!"

"Hear, hear!"

PAnther and Kiri both then shove Cloud out to the scorpion.

*The giant scorpion, coupled with the fact that everyone else had ran into the safety of the cave after they had pushed Cloud out made him very unhappy. He was utterly defenseless, he perhaps should have picked up some weapon before he went to the entrance but he didn't realise Panther would push him towards a deadly scorpion.*

There's only one thing to do: Go hand to hand with a giant scorpion.

*The scorpion lunged out with its tail, Cloud instinctively jumped to one side. The tail got stuck for a few seconds in the ground. Cloud used this opportunity to run inside the scorpion's defence and give it a swift punch to the side. The scorpion reeled but appeared unharmed.*

Well that was unexpected.

*The tail came round and hit Cloud across the chest flinging him quite far. Cloud's spirit however did not follow the body and stood next to the scorpion. Cloud threw a bolt of lightning at the scorpion's stinger instantly cutting it in half. The scorpion ran off into the sunset in tremendous pain, blood seeping out of its half-tail.*

And that, as they say, is the end of that.

Danikat: Well, that was...interesting. Lets just hope there's no more of them around.

*She steps fully outside the Cave and, in light of the fact that a giant scorpion just appeared out the ground, chooses to fly several feet up in the air instad of walking*

Danikat: Still can't see anything interesting. Anyone else comming?

Panther nods, jumping on the back of Kiri.
"Away, trusty steed!"

"Shut up!"

SLAP!

"Oww...." Panther rubbed the back of her head gingerly; she never knew a dragon's tail was so flexible. Kiri grunted and galloped out of the cave, then leaped into the air, spreading both wings to their full length. With a few flaps, they were soaring around the entrance to the Cave.

It flew quite far and I can't seem to sense it. I hope its not dead because that would be inconvenient to say the least.

*Cloud floated around the cave for a while before he noticed a small hole in the ground. The hole seemed to go down for miles, probably one of the reasons he couldn't sense it.*

I've found a very big hole in the ground, anyone else want to check it out with me?

*Cloud floated down into the ground next to the hole at a very fast rate after he shouted out hoping that someone else would follow. If his body was in bad shape he would need someone to carry it out.*

Kiri landed uncerimoniously, bringing up a cloud of sand as she did. Before it settled, Panther shouted something along an 'Aye, Aye!' and jumped in the hole.
