Waking up embedded in the snow, he should be cold and freezing, and at first he feels it, until his body reacts, slowly cooling his body, slowing his heart beat and constricting his blood vessels.

Slowly, and groggily he stands up, shaking his head, trying to gain his vision back to what it should be. As he begins to wake up properly, he watched a strange flying snake being transform into a woman underneath a large dragon, before morphing into an ice being.

He shakes his head, making sure it's actually happening. His stumbles at first, almost falling over, trying walk over to her. Kneeling, he stands up again, arching his back. Finally, getting his bearings, he reaches Ritka and Net. "Where am I?"

I think I saw one or two in the treasure hourde. Can't know for sure, the father dragon chased me out before I got a good look at 'em. I can show you where they are if you wanna risk it's horrible firey wrath.

At Net's words, the snowy girl stared, going very still. The only thought now in her mind was the pleasure of not just one, but possibly a few more marbles found than normal. And the only thing standing in her way was another dragon.

Within her mind, her wonderful psyche was screaming 'Stupid' at her repeatedly. And angry father dragon was not something that she should be messing with, especially with the stench of it's mate's blood upon her. She turned her head to the direction of where the believed the cave was, and in some odd form of a trance, she smiled slightly, and muttered, "... Where's that cave again?"

Generally, when in this position, hardly a thing could take her out of it. However, at this particular time, something interesting happened. Someone, a short ways away from where they stood, emerged from the snow field and came stumbling toward them. By the tracks behind him, he had apparently been walking for quite the while. He also seemed... kinda cold.

As he stumbled closer, the want for the marbles strangly... clicked off. Of course, she did still continue to stare for a good bit before finally realizing that she should probably help him.

But... before she could do that, the man seemed to get his bearings, and seemed alright. This was enough to keep her confused, and focused on him.

"... Where are you?" she repeated, before snickering slightly. It probably wasn't the most polite thing to do, but it came out none the less. "Uhm... Honestly, I couldn't tell you if I wanted to. This is apparently unexplored territory."

"I can tell you however," she continued, "That there are dragons around this frozen area, for some reason. Also, I'm Ritka." She smiled slightly, turning to the other person standing with her in the snow. "And this is Net... Correct?"

He looks confused as Ritka repeats his question, before listening to what she had to say. "Dragons? In this cold environment?" Trying to make a joke, "Did you ask if they could warm us up a bit?"

He offers his hand, "You can call me Marlon. A pleasure to meet other people."

His ears twitch slightly as does his nose. And looking into Ritka's eyes, he sees them turn red. "I don't know if I said something wrong, but your eyes, they've uhm, like, turned red...." he stops talking abruplty as three dragons fly over a nearby ice mound, snorting breath and heading for the trio. Pointing at them - "You mean, dragons like them?!"

Dubbed a dragon herself, Kat had a bit of trouble with the idea of harming these creatures when they'd not yet proven troublesome. Instead, she wondered at the landscape- how could this area be a frozen wasteland and be the home of a colony of fire dragons? Goliath's question was valid. Only one way to find out.

*poke*

One of the larger red dragons was sleeping, with smoke trailing softly from it's nostrils....

Such a dragon would never notice the poking of Kat's human form, due to his thick armored scales...

*POKE*

He might notice if poked in the eye, however....

"ROOOOOOOOAR. GROWL. SNARL. "

"Well, that doesn't sound very scary. Hardly even a proper howl in th- YEOWCH!"

Yup, these are fire dragons. This dragon happened to like sleep I suppose, because if Kat had been mortal a blast like that would have been the end of her. As things go, Kat just hid her roasted rump behind Goliath, thankful the area was covered with nice, COLD, snow. The area Kat had been standing in was turned instantly from frozen wasteland to charred wasteland, but as Kat watched, she noticed the charred area shrinking, as the ice surrounding the blasted area began reapidly expanding to cover the area.

"Something's up..."

The fox walked the cold tundra, on a mysterious midnight stroll.

Water in any form always had a certain allure to her-- she didn't know if it was because she was a water spirit, her mortal origin, or what, but it always wanted her to walk within it, roll around, swim, and play in it. But this water... it smelled different. Wrong.

She stopped, nearby a series of caves in the endless frozen wasteland. As the goddess of illusion, she only had very rudimentary powers over her mother element, though she could melt and absorb ice with a bit of effort.

She concentrated, and CRACK! The ice in a ten meter radius from her was gone, leaving moist, unfrozen ground.

But within a few seconds, the ground started crackling, as it gained a blueish hue, frozen soild.

Without half a minute afterwards, the ice was at the equal height as its neighbors, looking exactly like it did before, minus the light coat of snow.

Somewhat surprised at this, the goddess left to locate the few familiar minds, to notify them of this odd phenomena.

"Big Red" still didn't seem happy about being woken up, and Kat soon found that hiding wasn't the best idea. Running in back of the dragon, Kat looked for a quick emergency exit before stretching her scales and running directly towards the dragon, trying to climb it and get to the thing's neck.

The vixen walked as casually as ever. She merely glanced at the dragon before the huge red thing quite suddenly hanged a sharp right, ignoring Kat and speeding off after some apparently more interesting, invisible prey.

Paranesia never stopped walking, now in the view of Kat.

Of course, the sharp turn meant Kat's climbing attempt was doomed from the start, as she slid off the scales and began rolling, landing on her back directly in front of Paranesia. Kat immidiately got up, then took stock of her surroundings.

"I suppose you had something to do with my chew toy running off? No matter. You look like you know these parts pretty well if you were here before us. Do you know anything about the ice around here? Nice to meet you , by the way."

The vixen glanced at the dragons footsteps, which were already filling in with ice.

"The ice is enchanted somehow. I'm not very experienced with water, really, but I know the mark of Ariel when I see it."

She looked at the red dot in the distance, which had now been partially frozen by then.

"Quite useful for getting rid of pesty draconians, though, I must say."

"Really? You did that then? Suppose that makes since, as none of the other dragons are freezing. So we have an ever-expanding ice that doesn't actually cover living objects. If this ice expands so rapidly though, why hasn't the Dojo been covered? If you wish, you may come-I'm going to investigate."

Kat begins travelling towards the tundara's southern edge, thinking all the while.
'And what king of weapons could this ice form if it could be controlled?'

HollowEyes took in his icey new surroundings reminding himself as to why he was here. After the events of the GW vs EC War, he'd felt the need to get away from everything to re-think a lot of things, and what better place to do that than a frozen wasteland?
Additionally, he'd heard Net's plans for colonization of this part of the Dojo, and coupling that with the fact that he was now largely overdrawn with several spirits, he'd figured that he may as well get some work done whilst he was out here.

He wasn't used to the cold at all, and was for the first time in he couldn't remember how long wearing clothes. Most of his head was protected from the wind by clothe, and he was wearing a pair of pants to help keep himself warm. Without a doubt, the strangest part of his get-up were his shoes (if you could call them that). Long, metallic talon-like things, they made standing almost impossible in regular situations, but they were well-suited for this kind of terrain.

He darted up several icy cliff-faces, partially hoping to find some dragons somehow by doing this, but mostly just feeling like he needed to get moving before he froze on the spot. The sharp hooks at the end of his shoes dug into the ice as he scaled it, creating footholds easily. He wasn't sure what he'd reach at the top, but so long as it was interesting he didn't mind.

((Poor quality picture of HollowEyes' new clothes - more just so you can get an idea as to what he bascally looks like, as I still haven't got all my imagey programs up and running yet.))
