Lieutenant B`guide floated out in the dark vacuum of space.The officer's body was badly deformed from explosive decompression, and frozen in that position.

Before this cruel fate, B'guide had been sent on a mission to look into the claims of a "interplanetary zoo" operating in areas soon to be infiltrated by the race later to be called "the goos." If true, this breach of security would have allowed inhabitants of said planets a chance to see the invaders, possibly even build a resistance, before the real invasion took place.
And that wouldn't do.

B'guide wasn't afraid to "punish" those of his own race, and therefore he had rose through the ranks fast.Upon arriving on the vessel, the Lieutenant had armed his weapon quickly, ready to blow down anything in his way.Battle, his Artificial Intelligence beeped out a message as it entered the ships network.Every member even considered to enter the force was given one of these virtual animals at a young age to act like a toy and a teacher.B'guide had grown very close to his pixilated lizard.

However the mission hadn't gone as planned. Just as Battle had entered the network, he beeped a warning.Something had moved on the ship's security camera close to B'guide.There was a whap sound and the Lieutenant found himself thrown back into the hatch he had just entered and a sickly explosion.

"Whadda you think it is?"

"Some sort of wacky ice sculpture?"

B'guide had just been harvested by the routine space junk clean up by The CSS.After being checked over by two crewman, it was classed as "Slightly interesting" and sent off to the Storage.There, he had slowly thawed, endured the evacuation of the station, and roamed the dark halls for at least the 19th time.There seemed to be nothing left, his mission had failed and he was paying the price by being stranded on this lump of scrap metal.Battle had found that the station ALSO had an AI and had been watching it for some time, but all it seemed to do was sing a repetitive song.

That is until something else had entered the station.This alien creature had disabled the stations AI, and replaced it with another. Battle split himself, leaving some of his code to watch this new intruder while he reported back to his master.B'guide was pleased at the fact there was a new creature to hunt, and possibly a way to the planet he had seen below.The Lieutenant could start his own invasion.That thought pleased him.

Taking a few of the shortcuts he had mapped during his stay aboard the station, the solider quickly found the other inhabitant.Streached thin and stuck to the nearby wall, following the alien was easy and undetectable.

This was going to be fun....
