Thanks for the additional welcomes, folks. Steampunk... huge fan. Nothing specific, though, so don't try to nail me down. (I guess Final Fantasy VII, for which I still proudly wear the T-Shirt a decade later [got it when I worked at Babbage's], technically is steampunk. lol)

There's always room for it in the Starship Moonhawk universe, though. That's kinda the beauty part about flying around the galaxy in a 1.25 mile long space gun: you get around.

Danikat: as for the Mercadians... they will be joining the Alliance Navy soon enough. So you may see them in action in Epsilon Gamma (which I am trying to get rolling again).

Ashen Rain: Don't count me out in the fantasy division... although I'm more of a Sister Light, Sister Dark/White Jenna fantasy kinda guy. Although... when the sequel to "The Mercadian Affair" finally hits next year, you will be introduced to a race called the "Elfinians", complete with long, pointy ears. So perhaps my sci-fi borrows a little more from that genre then we thought.

Kazumaru: Then you will LOVE "Made in the USA" when it hits my site next year. A sentient AI is the focalpoint of that story.

Raven: I am an avid supporter of smut. *coughs and looks shifty eyed*

HisLordship: why, thank you. I think I know what I need to do on all these steampunk references... I need to go catch up on my Girl Genius. That'll get me back in the mood. ^^

Oh poof. Seems I've gone and made an assumption (which honestly I don't know how I did, as I read through your entire post xp).

And you know what they say about assuming, riiiight? You don't? Oh. Well... I guess I could look it up for you sometimes or... something..

Well, I've gone and read through all of the comics posted so far, and I have to say I enjoy them. ^^

They're also making me want to go on a hunt for home brew races again. I have a thing for looking up online/buying books that inspire me to write up stories or create my own creatures/characters, though I hardly spend any time actually writing about it anymore. Darn it life! Why must you pull me away from the things I so love?
