((Wow! 3kul to the rescue! I was ready to just run out of town!))
*Addman stares at the warrant with alarm. He couldn't believe the downward spiral his life was suddenly taking. This morning was the best business day of his life, now he had nothing and a warrant for his arrest.
Before he could mumble some excuse, then flee as far as he could, two familiar faces leaped out of the butchery and literally saved his ass. He simply sat there in awe as the Parasitians leaped into action and came to his defence. He read Little Sister's note over Juan's shoulder and, although he resented the dim witted remark, it appeared as though she was offering to pay off his debt.*
Gee! Thanks little missy! Ah'll do whatever ah can to make it up to yer!
*At this point in time, he was thankful for any type of help he could get* _________________ I like big cookies and I cannot lie,

((And now, your gonna shout at me for twisting the RPG slightly.Trust me,several of you are now gonna stab me,i know it.))
Linda had long ago given up on samura coming and had teleported back into her house before the bar dialema. She stepped outside to tend the fields, and spun around quickly as she heard timber screaming.
She was just in time to see Addman's saloon crushing her house and part of the field. She marched into the main road and shrieked:
"Right, who does that thing belong to?!?! It's destored ma' house! The barrons gonan kill me! Everythin' i owned was in there!"
This, of corse, inclued the best of her harvest that she had spent all morning collecting. She'd been going out to get a horse after she had finished in the field, so she had been carrieing what little money she had with her.
The only sorce of income had been the farm, and even then it was barely enough to keep her alive. Now it was destroyed, she was going to have to leave before anybody acused her of witchcraft. _________________

Previously, Till had come to a halt as Will Barron one of his wildcards blocked his passage of the passing between the thick brushes. He'd literally stared at them for a few minutes before coming to a conclusion, which was to invent them back round to his private ranch.
Later
Till watched as the group galloped back towards town. Another day, another round of business. He had things to attend to within his private ranch. Things that would help him in the near future. However, for now, he could smell fresh buffalo being roasted, this excited his senses. He only hopes that his assistant will be back shortly.
Waking back through his house doors, he closes the door, and hangs up his hat, and gets a maid to help him struggle out of his boots. Now able to relax, he sits in the reading room, reading up on the towns history. _________________ There is a fate worse than death. It is not me, no. But, I can try... |

Little Sister was quite flattered by the man's propostion of marriage, though not very impressed with him otherwise. HollowEyes one the other hand struggled to keep himself from vomitting at the mere idea of such a thing. For now though, it seemed like they could avoid a fight and get their SiC out of trouble. Lowering the stupidly coloured boomstick, HollowEyes tried a different line of reasoning.
"As you guessed, my sister's got quite a large amount of suitors... being the exotic flower that she is." He stamped on his own foot to prevent himself from either laughing or being physically ill as he continued. "However, so far there's yet to be a single one who's met her excessively high expectations." A fierce glare from Little Sister let him know not to push his luck.
"As the note indicated, we can come up with the money that the barman owns in just three days, which I'm sure is much better than no money and a dead or outlawed barman." He leaned in closer to Malvidas and whispered. "No doubt my sister would be quite impressed with you if you were to catch the witch responsible and give us a little time to get the money together. The barman is like a father to her, you see, and she'd be utterly devestated to see him run out of town." Little Sister couldn't hear what HollowEyes was saying, though she didn't think she liked the way he was thinking. _________________ If I'm not here, I'm probably over at...

El senor Malvidas repsonds:
I theen jur reques ees responable, senor, I shall tell the serrif of our arrangement. He holds me een high regard, an' I am sure that dis weel be asseptable.
Turning to glance at Little Sister: "Adios, mi paloma, I shall carry the scent of your perfume een my heart until I see ju again."
He steps back and heads down the street to the bank where Will and the gang have been questioning the bank people about the robbery. Several of them are responding very nervously to his questioning. No one has actually said that they thought that it was him, but some of their descriptions described him quite accurately. However, others gave varying description, eyewitness are notoriously bad, especially when they are feeling intimidated by a rowdy bunch of deputies with pistols.
Jack has been standing watch outside the bank, he's not particularly fond of dogs since a childhood mishap, and he has taken a couple of pot shots, at various canines in the street, intentionally missing, but attempting to scare them off.
At the sudden re-arrival of the saloon (down the street, at the edge of town, but it would have made a pretty loud noise at it crushed the house) Jack heads down to the sight of the crushed farmhouse. Seeing the young woman whom he supposes to the the renter, he says:
"Ah regret to inform you, missy, but ah believe your rent is still gonna be due." _________________ We are intensely loyal to Will Barron, We are intensely loyal to the Corporation, (But, then, we are mercenaries, make us an offer....) |

((slight problem with that...linda is a norn,not a human.))
Linda spun around, one eye twitching. Her mind quickly flicked through the vocal sets she had and chose one that seemed to fit the problem which was this human infront of her telling her she had to pay her rent.
"My rent!?!? The rent's not what i'm worrying about, it's the fact that the crops for the barron were in there when it got crushed! Now,thats all my money that i've just given you, so will you now just get out of my way?"
This was all said with a rather loud, metalic voice that sounded male. She'd "borrowed" it from brocks memory, but the voice of the collective still seemed like a good one to have used. She wasn't waiting for a relpy from the squishy defenceles thing called a human, but wanted to see who this witch was.
If the bloke desides to get in my way i'll show him how useful a metal arm can be when it comes to removing a obstical. _________________

((ARGH! I was looking forward to this thread going places! Pwease keep it alive?))
*Seph had just gotten down the street, sticking out in the open, he decided to keep in the dark alleyways, he had hardly gotten to the end until a reverberation was felt in the air, he turned backwards to see the bar sucked into nothingness, he had best contact the youngling to see if she had gotten herself killed.*
~You get out in time Short-fangs? It'd be just like you to die on me.~
*He smiled slightly before fully turning to where the bar should have been, and began walking back, his jacket was carefully buttoned up, hiding whatever he was carrying inside it, if a law-man were to walk by and see, it would start up a rather large ruckus, and he didn’t want that...yet at least* |

*dusting off her cloathes, she hears the loud crunching thump as the saloon lands. she clicks her tongue and listens to her Sires' message.*
~hur.. i've only died twice, you cant call that a charicter trait, ojee-kun. besides, who was the one pointing a twelve-bore at me?~
*she spins sharply on her heel with a sneer of distaste and steps into the darkness of her current home. she pushes open the door to a back room, in one corner there's an unmade bed and against the wall there is a large dresser with a number of objects which glinted in the dim light arrayed on it. on the walls there are deep etchings and patterns drawn in something dark and slightly sticky, Angels eyes pass over them breifly but shy away and she dosent seem to notice them. one pattern seems to dominate and comes up several times, a thin figure carved into the plaster with lines splaying out from each shoulder. a smear of blood marks its face and the wings are painted in it.
Angel walks to the dresser and rolls up the objects in a carrier of tough leather, the smell of gunoil and bullets drifts up along with a faint clunking noise. after tying the roll closed she, unconciously, pulls out her buck knife and scores another line into the motif on the wall. from the corner next to the bed there is a faint whimpering and a clinking. there is a thick chain padlocked to the bed which snakes into the dark shadows from which the whimpering is coming.
in two short strides Angel grabs the chain and drags a ragged man into the thin beam of light coming from the boarded window. he cries out in pain where the manackles cut into his wrists and she throws him to the floor with a look of distain.*
where has your fire gone, hunter? i do miss it...
*she crouches infront of him pulls him up by his chin so he is kneeling awkwardly. she leans forwards, his neck is a mess of scars and scabs and his finely cut shirt is plastered to his skin with caking blood and he shakes violently in fear. she whispers in his ear*
you're a bad man, hunter. they want to see you dead, hunter. all the little voices, they're crying, hunter.
*the man stiffens, absorbed in his own personal hell, she pushes him over with a sneer and picks up a conceiling coat from the hat stand behind the door and slips it on over her wings. a few minutes later she steps out of her front door, conceiled in coat and hat but with a slight smeer of blood on her cheek* _________________ The Deadly Donkey:

Jax roamed the perimeter of the corral, occasionally nudging a wooden beam or kicking a post. Whatever sense of adventure or bravado the half grown colt had had earlier was long gone. He wanted nothing more than to be free and home, far, far away from this wretched place.
At least part of his prayer was answered by a terrific crash and the impressive arrival of a large building a short distance away. Various chunks of mortar, wood and stone fell from the plummeting edifice, several sections of the rough corral walls were torn down in the process. Jax held his ground, crouching with narrowed eyes as he coughed a bit from the dust.
The herd was whinnying and galloping around in fright, eyes rolling and hooves stomping. Ajaxon wrinkled his nose. Blood... equine blood. Not his, but at least one of the horses were hurt. Squeals and whinnies filled the dust clogged air as Jax peered through the murky vista. It would be risky... but the debris pile was scalable. Without a backward glance at his fellow prisoners, Ajaxon picked his way through the debris and placed his front hooves on the pile, testing it with his weight. The boards groaned and shifted under the colt's weight, and Jax scrambled across them with haste.
Finally free on the other side of the fence, the grey foal flagged his tail in the air and looked around, licking his dry lips. He began to move off from the newly landed Saloon and the wreaked corral, but something drew his gaze back to the enclosure. Most of the herd was stomping and weaving at the back, far away from the damage... but there were several horse shapes closer, lying still, including the dusty grey brown filly that Jax had tried to greet. He turned away with a visible shudder, wrenching his gaze from the twisted bent neck and the glazed eyes. Instead he looked at the lock on the corral gate, working it up and down until the hinged fence swung freely.
~Come on, get out!~ Jax thought, shaking his head. The herd remained huddled in the back of the corral, milling around. Ajaxon glanced over his shoulder. The humans would not be long in coming.. already he could hear voices yelling at each other over something about rent.
~OUT! OUT!~ Frustrated, he pawed the ground. As the dust settled, Jax noticed the young filly had not been the only casualty... several mares, a young foal and the lead stallion were also not moving. Ears twitching back and forth, Jax made a swift decision. Diving into the remainder of the horse herd, he pushed and shoved towards the open gate, nipping flanks and kicking. The terrified horses bolted, straight out onto the main street of the town, stampeding out of control.
~Wait! Stay with me!~ Ajaxon ran after the herd, stopping just outside the corral in dismay, watching the equines scatter down the road without him.
((For anyone who can't be bothered to read the whole post, all you really have to know is that there is now a large herd of frightened horses stampeding down Main Street. Have fun!)) _________________

Arnott just stared at a fast approaching dust cloud. Upon closer inspection, it appeared that there was a random pack of wild horses galloping this way. Being small, at this point in time, appeared to be an extremely disadvantageous situation that he found himself not currently enjoying.
Quickly, he runs of to one side of the road, using all four legs, which he found himself occasionally loathe to do so. Reaching a decent sized house, he made his way up to the roof, first using the small fence on the porch, and then madly scrabbling up the support pole that helped keep the porch roof upright.
From here, he swung up onto the roof, and crouched there, watching with interest as the local townsfolk began to run amok away from the scared and uncontrolled horses. Oh the joys of being a sentient being... _________________ Books are source of knowledge, knowledge source of power, power is source of corruption, corruption is crime.Reading books will get you imprisoned!

((I have negated zis thread a little too much. It iz time to zee zat zis thread haz a few more zurprizez.))
Till, now settling down into what appeared to be a well grilled piece of buffalo meat, sweet potatoes, carrots, peas and a wondeful glass of imported german wine. Whilst he's quietly tucking into his meal, he relieves his mind from the days events.
Back in the town centre, a scream, a woman's scream echoes throughout the town. One that could curdle blood. It is the scream of a dying woman. Another scream is heard from across the town seconds later. Almost as if a planned attack has taken place. A third scream comes from somewhere in the centre of town as the townsfolk run wildly to escape the maddened horses, and trying to decide which scream to go to.
In the confusion, a house begins to burn, with a child screaming for help from a top window. Whatever is going on is going to leave a mark in the psyche of the townsfolk. _________________ There is a fate worse than death. It is not me, no. But, I can try... |

Linda's head snapped to one side as horses becane stampeding down the street. The problem was that she was in the direct line of the oncoming herd, and did somthing stupid. She grabbed one horse around the neck and dug her legs in, trying to get it to stop. In the end she was forced to let go as a child started to scream for help from a burning building, and witgh borg emplants enhancing the sound she nearly collapsed from the volume in the street.
"Dammed metal limbs,if i go in there then i'll praticly melt,And the woods to flimsy for me to climb up!Stupid, stupid, stupid borgs and their stupid metal emplants..."
She shouted before she remembered somebody who'd be able to grab the child without entering the building.Samura! The norn would be able to get there and down again with ease, but first Linda had to find her.
"This is really begining to get on my neaves..."
She hised, hands clamped over her ears. _________________
