Hi! I'm the Gryph. Embri told me to take a look around here, so I figure I'll lurk for a while and try not shy the hell out. And maybe, possibly, potentially post a bit. I draw sometimes, so perhaps I'll try to draw some characters before getting involved, or something. And no skull baskets -- I got that out of the way years ago, I assure you.

I'll probably be around, at least! Helps that I actually know a couple of you people, and the topic tends to recur in JRC.

Incase you hadn't already worked it out,I'm "Norns_Rock" at albia, and i still don't really know why i choose that name but who cares?

If you need anything to be explained to you, just ask and somebody should help you out.Embri's the best person to ask ((Unlike me,i just point at her and say "Ask her,i haven't a clue" Razz

Greetings, Gryph. You may have seen me around, I do tend to get everywhere... although I may be a bit scarce here for a month or so. I will endeavor to be here for the second round of the Olympics, whenever that may be.

Didn't think I'd see you here so soon, but I'm delighted. Let me do the time honored introduction stuff first off...

Okay, first of all, Blackstar is a freeform RPing site, which means any kind of character goes. I'm working on a guide to explain all this better, but in the mean time, just yank over my ear if you need help or have questions.

Just so you feel at home, we even have a nice JRChat link directly in the menu bar! Wink

Hm... so what else... well, there's the obligatory warning to not bug our founder, TheSensei, unless you have technical board problems. Even then, try one of the other Mods or Admins first.

Hey, thanks for the welcome!

Yeah, I'm a manager over at Creatures caves, but I don't actually participate (or read, actually -- I avoid strangeo) in the roleplaying. The last time I was really involved in roleplaying (disregarding JRC chatter) around in the CC was, uh... Treesprite's grove? .. And I was like 11. Lame times. I know more than one definition of 'quagmire' now, thank god.

I'm a moderator over at A2K too, although I haven't posted publicly over there in months. And yeah, I'm a she. I don't really mind though, I'm used to people getting my gender wrong ;p

Oh, and is the image for the 'Colony in the Northern Regions survivor' medal broken? It's been stretching the forums for me since last night. Hell, maybe I could offer to make you some better graphics? I'll talk to Embri.

Hey, Shadowveil, can't say I'm familiar with the name but Sekhmet is an awesome character. I have to say I didn't know much about the deity until I noticed your banner and looked her up on google, so thanks for that! *irritating 'The More You Know!' jingle plays*

I've sure seen your name around. You are a semi important person in the CC, but I didn't know you RPed.

I'm Ecclesiastes in A2k but I've changed over to Shine everywhere else.

We've never really interacted directly (you seemed too important and connected at CC for humble ol' me to presume an egalitarian status with.)

But as I am here pretty regularly, I can be bold enough to extend you greetings.

You've had plently of advice already, so I'll just say: - draw up a character, don't powerplay, try two speel korectly Wink

and above all have fun.

I hope you think of yourself as one of the "good folks" and are not another one of those pesky Evil Council nutballs. (( Razz
