Snowball fight!

[Danikat]

All was quiet in the icy, icy wastelands of the frozen north. The cruel wind swept the snow across the bleak landscape, occasionally whipping it into odd, twisted and almost beautiful sculptures. The occasional groan of a shifting glacier was all that broke the windswept silence.

Then a new noise interrupted the silence, followed by a new sight.
The noise was a quiet pop of displaced air, and the sight was a large golden dragon circling her way down onto the snowscape below.

*Danikat patted Alzaranth on the neck as she landed*
Danikat: Its not as cold as between, not even close. But if you don't want to stay you can go back to the fortress, I'll call if I need you.

*Danikat jumped down and felt the snow crunch under her boots. She didn't normally wear boots, but she didn't think trainers would really cut it out here. She was also wearing a thick jacket and strangely thin gloves, a special invention she'd found on eBay, they were warm enough to stop her hands from freezing but wouldn't impair her movement*

*Hoping the others would see the invitations she'd left on the Dojo and Training Dojo doors she set about building a snow fort and stock pilling snow balls to get a head start on the compertition*

((OK, the idea of this RP is simple: make your way up to the frozen north lands and throw snowballs at each other. No saving (or destroying) the world or anything else, no politics, no profit, this is strictly for fun.))

((Edit: The only weapon you can use on other players is snow. Feel free to use other weapons as tools but snow is the only object you can attack someone with.))

Whilst Whiteoak was off bolstering his ego with pointless competition, Obed had seen the invitation and thought that a snowball fight looked like fun.

Having come from Ethiopia, this was something he had discovered later in life and throughly enjoyed.

The human faced, black winged lion/sphynx, could cease production of the venom in his spiked tail, and just shoot water, which he could transform into either slush, sprayed snow, or with just a bit of concentration, -snowballs.

Using his fire and brimstone plague, he cut out of a glacial cliff face a good sized fortress which opened out onto the world with a half sized wall, that you could look over and throw snow balls from, or duck behind. On one end there was an opening large enough for folks to land and take off. Working back into the glacier, he also added storrage rooms and a stairway up to the top, where he sprayed walls and a bit of a fortification on the topside as well, with enough of an open space for landing and take offs, and walls strong enough to protect folks from even fairly icy attacks.

Obed flew off and found Danikat. Lightly tossing a soft snowball just in front of her to get her attention, he said

" 'Ey dhere, A've built a fort, du'wanna be on dhe same side or be opponents?

[Danikat]

((Wow, thats a serious snow fort!))

*Danikat looked up from the snow-wall she was sculpting and grinned at Obed*

Danikat: Well, since we're the only two here right now it would seem a bit pointless to be on the same side wouldn't it? Other people can pick sides, or just make it a free-for-all when they show up.

*With that Danikat leapt over the wall of her snow fort ((basically just a curved wall with an overhang for shelter at this point)) and a few seconds later a snowball came flying in the general direction of Obed*

[Jent]

*Ice Wave was walking though the snow, wearing a thin jacket, fury boots and gloves, and a mask made by Natu but made for the snow. He does not to worry about the cold, he can adapt to the cold and any thing wet. His jacket has some of Cross Fire's heat stored in nicely so Ice Wave does not get to cold. Then he saw Danikat and Obed in a distance.*

~This would be fun, this is my element. I can make a castle easy, I'll give them a message.~

*Ice wave got some snow in his hands, compacted it, then threw the snow ball that is coming to Obed. Next he melted the snow into water, formed it to a fort, last he turned it to ice.*

[addman]

*Addman walked across the frozen wasteland, referring to his map as he walked. Behind him, a large platoon of EC grunts marched forwards. The muppet turned, and addressed them*

This seems to be the place.

*Performing a trick he'd done many times before, Addman heaved his fully charged Scimitar into the ground, releasing it's foul energy into the snow, causing a small avalanche from the nearby cliff. The snow falls, creating a huge snow drift. Addman flips over the map to reveal a blueprint for a fortress, exactly to the same specifications as Helm's Deep. He hands the blueprint to the leading grunt*

Begin construction.

*The grunts work dilligently and have a finished model ready pretty soon afterwards. They then turn around and walk away*

Addman: Hey! Where are you going? We've got a snowball fight to win!
Grunts: It's our breaktime.
Addman: Damn grunts, fine, I'll do it myself!

*With that, Addman climbed to the top of the fortress, plunged two large poles into the floor, wrapped a piece of elastic around them, and test fired it in Danikat's general direction*

[GBE]

Kafka had absent mindedly wondered into the frozen lands, and for a long time there had been absolutely nothing in the way of memorable features or animals. Eventually he came into an area where he could see a rather large cliff face.

There were two forts (Obed's and Addmans') dug out in the side of it, the cliff appeared to be of a semi-circular shape, so that the two forts almost faced one another. In the middle of the lands was an ice fort (Ice Wave's), and a small semi-circular wall (Danikats).

He'd only seen ice structures briefly on his home-planet, he didn't have the time to stop and stare, as his people and he had been under heavy fire.

He stands there, unsure of what to make of it all. He himself was mostly kept warm by a layer of strange hairs covering his otherwise naked body. The steam was clear to see coming out of his mouth.

For some reason, this strange humanoid being was not freezing to death. He continues walking across the frozen lands...

[Danikat]

*Danikat was just beggining to think that she needed a new fort when she was hit by addmans snowball*
((No idea how big it was, but I'm assuming its not too much bigger than average. If it is let me know and I'll adjust the post accordingly.))

Danikat: Oh yeah, I need a new fort. *Shakes off the remaining snow*

*At that point several armadillos make their way around the cliff in teams of 4, each dragging a large ice block. They are followed by yet more armadillos. When they reach the battlefield they quickly assemble the blocks into an ice castle between and slightly to one side of the two cliffs ((so the three form a rough triangle)). The castle has no door, the inside can only be reached from the air, but other than that its a fairly typically square castle with a turret at each corner*

*Danikat flies up to land on one of the turrets, snowball in hand*

((I'm going to add a rule before this escalates too much towards a real, all-out battle that the only weapon you can use on each other is snow. It doesn't have to be in ball form but it does have to be snow.))

[Shine]

Obed was about to lob another snowball at Danikat, when

Whop!

Ice Wave's snowball hit him square in the dreadlocks, he turned to see who had come when he saw another snowball coming, he ducked and it went past him and Addman's snowball hit Dani.

Obed pointed his tail and let a tripple volley fly back at Ice Wave, and a couple more for good measure went off in Addman's direction.

He took to flight and did big circle on his way to his fortress, calling as he went:

"Anybody want to join forces, I've got room in my snow fort for several friends."

[Jent]

*Ice Wave saw the snow balls coming to collied with him.* ~They have to do it better than that.~

*Ice Wave melted the snow balls back to water, then he makes his castle grow, by adding more ice and shaping it.*

Ice Wave: Join my team, I am a awesome player!

[addman]

((No Dani, it was a regular sized one. I don't want to crush you with snow just yet . I'd need a bigger elastic band for that!))

*Addman began to scoop the ice and snow of the top of Muppet's Deep ((the new name for his fortress)) and make them into regular sized snowballs. He'd started to pile them up, when two snowballs came flying through the air and both hit him straight in the chest, where his nipples would be*

Gah! The cold! You shall pay!

*He shook his fur, knocking the snow off with a shiver, then proceeded to load up his catapult, firing, then loading repeatedly at Obed and his fort*

[Somefreakoverthere]

Two shapes warped out of nowhere in ice waves fort,one a child,the other a youth.

"We join your team,okay?don't pour snow down sirus's back,please,she hasn't got a strong imunne system yet."

Linda said quickly.she was wearing the basic stuff like sirus,but the only diffrence was that sirus had a little bobble hat and scarf which where matching.she found it rather cute.

Sirus looked down at a small amount of snow on the ground,and consontraited.

In a few seconds a small pile of snowballs where sitting in it's place.she scooped one up and offered it to ice wave as something to throw.She smiled at her mum,who returned the smile.

[Jent]

*Ice Wave noticed two norns behind, he turned around to greet them. Then he saw Sirus giving him a snowball, he threw it to addman's den.*
(Yes addman, its you. Ice Wave is still mad at you.)

Ice Wave: Thank you for the help, I'll work in making the basement, then you can fight Linda. But Sirus can fight or can help me in the building, might even learn some thing. How about it Sirus, would you want to fight or help me build? Fallow me if you want to build Sirus.

*Ice Wave went down in a hole, but then turned around.*

Ice Wave: If you need help Linda, call me.

*Then Ice Wave walked down in the in the underdevelopment basement.*

[Somefreakoverthere]

Linda grinned.

"oh,trust me,i'm an army in my own right.The target is addmans den,yes?good.I always wanted to see a snow muppet."

a large pile of snow was quickly turned into snowballs with some help of some ice vines,and she clambered onto the wall,holding a snowball in either hand.It was a snowball a vine,and she grinned.

"FIRE!"

she bellowed,throwing hard.The vines flung at the same time ,and useing her mind,linda aimed very acutartly for the blue muppets eyes.she giggled.

~hope your eyes don't freeze,addman.You'll be wanting to see the grand finaly.~

Sirus followed Ice wave happily,and grinned.Moving ice about was easy-it was just solid water,and she was used to moving about water.

"what help you need?Sucpting?Good at statues."
the bewulf asked as she stood up.There was one diffrence between her and her mothers clothing:she wasn't wearing gloves.

She reached down and touched the ice below the snow,and saw what she wanted it to look like in her mind.It groaned as it was shaped as she needed some time to sharpen her skills,but the result was the same.

It was a small norn figure that looked a bit like ice wave,as she had used a but of frosted ice here and there to give people the feeling it was watching them.

"good?"
she querierd,wondering if this was what he wanted done.If he didn't like it,she thought,then it make a pretty cool floor,if you wanted to go ice-skating.

[Jent]

*Ice Wave looked at Sirus's statue, it looked like himself.*

Ice Wave: Its good but we need to make a deep basement so if the higher floors are destroyed, we can hide here. Here I got you some thing.

*Ice Wave gives Sirus some mittens.*

Ice Wave: But if you want, we can a some decorations for it. Maybe some ice skating.

(Ice Wave didn't read Sirus's mind, but guess.)

[addman]

((Hey! Pick on the children's entertainer why don't you? ))

*Addman comes under a volley of fire, and dives for cover inside an open trapdoor, pulling the wooden door shut behind him. The patter of snowballs could be heard as he waited for the barrage to stop*

Muppet's Deep shall not be breached!

*He grabs a weapon from a nearby weapon rack, the BSG 3000 (Big, Snowy Gun) and held it firmly. The BSG 3000 essentially sucked in the cold air from the outside, froze it solid into snow, then fired it at high speeds. Due to this fantastic technology, the BSG never ran out of ammo, as long as the air was cold. Addman leaped out of the trapdoor like a crazed fool*

Now is the winter of your discontent!

*Pulling the trigger, he fired round after round at Ice Wave's fort*
