Search for The Spear of the Armageddon

((Sorry about the lengthy title, I don't know what else to call it.))

Elisah sat at the base of a tree, leaning against the trunk. She took out a rolled-up sheet of paper, unrolled and looked it over.

The paper was a map-a very old map of the Dojo she had found during her wanderings. Why she even bothered picking up and keeping the map was because she was looking for something.

The words on the map were in a strange language Elisah didn't understand. However, it didn't take much to figure out what the pictures meant.

The map gave no specific directions, but across the top of the map was a line drawing of a spear. And the spear the picture represented was what Elisah was after.

This was the Spear of the Armageddon-a weapon that contained supernatural powers of destruction and the powers of the forces of the apocalypse.

Elisah didn't intend on using the powers of the spear against the Dojo, but she wanted it just the same.

But she knew full well she wasn't going to be able to find the spear on her own-she'd need allies to help her. Further arguing that point, the spear wasn't going to be sitting out in the open ungaurded.

As she put the map away and stood up, she wondered what would be the best way to assemble a search team. She thought about posters, but that meant she'd have to find a meeting place. Or she could go to the Meeting House and see if she could arrange a gathering, but then she'd have to find some way of telling the populace about it.

Walking off, she settled on finding a meeting place and using posters-she'd hate to see the reactions of the Meeting House managers when they found out she was trying to arrange a group to hunt down a weapon of mass destruction.

She thought of several ideas on a meeting place-she considered using the old mill that the anti-blobs of doom group went to, but dismissed it.
After thinking and rejecting a load more ideas, she settled on making the meeting place in the forest nearby the Training Dojo.

((The Spear of the Armageddon is a weapon I've had in my head for some time. I was originally going to give the weapon to one of my characters, but I didn't want to give it to one of my existing characters and was unable to think up a character suitable enough to use it.

So eventually, the idea of the spear led to the creation of this RP. Summing it up, Elisah is looking for the spear, and knows that she isn't going to be able to find the spear/fight anything gaurding the spear by herself, so she's putting up posters to assemble a group.
Only time will tell if this RP sinks or swims, and if it fails, to the Amphitheatre it is.))

[Cloud]

Cloud was out buying various items of interest in Psychotopia City. As was usual for Cloud, he was very bored and decided he wanted to get a few torturous items to use on Cornie. He picked up a strange device that, when activated, unleashed a very high pitched shriek.

"Would you turn that bloody device off!", the store owner yelled, "It'll melt your brain if it goes on much longer".

Cloud quickly shut the device off. It was perfect! He just needed to know a few things. He trudged up to the store owner and demanded answers. After much questioning and bargaining he left the store with the device. He found out that it only affected whoever was holding it, but it was useless after it was used. The good thing was that once activated it would wait until someone held it before it was used. A perfect trap. While in the shop the store owner had also notified Cloud that some meeting was being held in the forest nearby the training dojo. Posters were up everywhere, the owner had said.

Looking at the various shops in the city, Cloud had found one of the posters and used the attached map to find this meeting. It was a good job he never left the Corrupted Cave without his usual equipment.

[Chronos]

Ensichrys, having absolutely no idea that his comrade had just walked past the same shop, was standing at the counter. It took a while, but eventually the shop owner realized who he was and threw Ensichrys out of the shop.

The once noble knight slunk away dejectedly. This was how it always was in Psychotopia City. No one liked him because of the things they had heard. Someday he would get back at those folk for the way they treated him.

But what was this now? Ensichrys had gone and gotten lost. Both in his thoughts and in his environment. He had accidentally gone in the opposite direction of the cave.

Turning and jabbing at a tree randomly placed in the city with his hand, he stabbed through an odd little poster. He picked it off and read it. His soul told him Don't even think about it, you pompous buffoon! But his brain told him differently. This could be just what he needed.

Ensichrys giggled evilly to himself and bounced on his toes for a few seconds before tearing off in the direction indicated by the poster. Upon leaving the city and crossing the plains, he began to laugh louder until finally reaching an insane cackle. His eyes were closed in his mirth, and when he opened them it was too late.

BUMP! He ran right into Cloud from behind, completely wiping out.

[Maraha]

Maraha was walking through the streets in her Human form, and noticed a shop, a rather neat looking little shop with Chocolate Chip Space-Puppy Cookies on sale in the window. 'Argh! I better get those cookies before Addman does! Oi, that demon can sense cookies from a... a... very long distance!'

She practically burst through the door on her way inside, she quickly paid for and snatched the Cookies before gobbling them down within minutes. While stepping out of the shop she watched as a Hobo tore up a poster and walked away. She shrugged and walked over to the bits of torn up paper and picked up a random piece. "Go to ... For what?" She read a few other pieces of paper and when she noticed the word 'Armageddon' she instantly cackled inside. "Sounds like fun. Maybe I can make a copy of this 'Spear of Armageddon' if I can't get the real thing myself... Heh... heheheh..."

So she took off in the direction of the Meeting Place, running as fast as her pathetic human legs could take her. After a few moments of running she remembered that she could shapeshift! So she quickly shapeshifted into her Horse form. (I'm too lazy to write down all the details, mlya~)

She then continued to fly in the direction of the Meeting House, and noticed a couple of people (Well, what looked like a person and a strange birdlike creature) down below her. She thought that she could use some new friends, or enemies, and dived down to either be mauled or to introduce herself. She decided to stay in her Horse Form, because she needed to get back to running and because it took up quite a bit of energy to shapeshift. She just stood there, staring at the two, before she finally said something that was somewhat audible, something along the lines of 'Did you see the posters too or are ya just heading to the Training Dojo to train or wha?'

She felt like kicking herself out of embarrasment, she had trouble speaking with strangers, especially in her over-nervous Horse Form.

Elisah was napping against a tree when she heard insane cackling.

She woke up just in time to see a dinoavian sort of creature crash into a person wearing a big black cloak. Also present was a very strange-looking, talking horse.

Now I've seen everything, she thought.

She got up and walked over to the group.

"Are you guys here for the meeting, or are you just passing through?" she asked.

((Am I correct assuming everyone's at the meeting place?))

[Cloud]

((No one actually stated where they were, just randomly milling about in the forest. Lets make it easier though, lets say we've all arrived at the meeting place. ))

((I have nothing to add to this story I merely ask: why does "apocalypse" have to mean "end of the world"? Translate the Greek, and 'revelation' comes forth, a completely different meaning compared to the end of all things.

[Maraha]

"Well how can anyone be sure if your not here to breed Cardboard boxes? I've seen people secretly sneak around here for that... Fighting Boxes, they call 'em! Illegal in a lot of places, you know. They're small but vicious, dangerous little beasts, really."

She shapeshifted to her Human form and promptly sat down on the ground, not caring about things such as grass or dirt. "Soo... When does this 'meeting' begin?" She asked.

(I've got to go now, chiropractors appointment. *Cringes*)

"When we get a little bit organized, for one." said Elisah, referring to the incident between Cloud and Ensichrys.

[Cloud]

[Chronos]

"Sorry, about that, Cloud," he said while removing himself from Cloud's back. "Ow. That didn't feel so good." He looked at Elisah as if noticing her for the first time. "I'm sorry. That was my fault. I'm clumsy sometimes."

He looked to the horse to make a joke about running and then realized that it had become a human. The joke died in his throat. Ensichrys was slightly crestfallen. It would have been a good joke.

"Well then. I'm ready when you are, Ms."

Before actually starting, Elisah pulled out the map.

"If you read the posters correctly, you should know I'm looking for an a very powerful artifact," she said before unrolling it.

[Chronos]

Ensichrys became tense. This was what he was looking for. That powerful artifact. "What," he began, "are the parameters of this... artifact, if I may ask?"

"It's a weapon, for one." said Elisah. This was just a quick response really, she was waiting for the other two to get themselves together.

[Cloud]

How do you know it's a weapon? It could just be some tool, some conduit, for great evil. Using it as a weapon could break it, especially if it wasn't designed for combat.

*As Ensichrys lifted himself off his back, Cloud leaned against a tree and waited. It seemed that this woman was waiting for more people, but Cloud didn't care; He wanted to get started on this quest as soon as possible.*
