The Mistake

[Leporidae]

((This is probibly one of the biggest RP ideas I thought up of and it comes in a few parts. Your welcome to join or just read along. Why this RP is called the Mistake? You'll find out eventually ))

Error and Trial. People say that their nessasary to learn new things, and that is correct. But sometimes that sentance will comeback and bite you in the arse. Leporidae was sick with being easily fooled and wanted to get rid of traps once and for all. But despite the fact she was born in a lab, she dosn't have very good of a idea on how machernry works. Lets just say that cardboard boxes connected with ductape dosn't make a very good Deus Ex Machina. Although the trap angst left her mind, she was hell-bent on ending the era of fools.

She thought the anger would pass away if she took a little walk through the forest. Lakes of acid, moving trees, radioactive toads, Cornelius corpses, and screaming maidens. Yup, it's the same ol' forest as normal. A stump layed bare, and no tired someone couldn't resist sitting on it. Provided you wern't disgusted by the skeleton, of course. Leporidae relaxed, changing positions her and there. But just when she thought that her mind will be ridden of the ideal Deus Ex Machina, a stump nearby caught her attention.

This paticular stump was hallowed out. Usually this ment that parasites were here. Even if they looked gross, they were fun to kill to pass the time. Leporidae couldn't help but look into the stump to check to see if any are there. It was nothing what Leporidae expected at all. A map and a
simple iron dagger layed along eachother in the stump. A grab for the dagger with one hand and a grab for the map with the other was made.

Lep studyed the dagger first. It was your average iron dagger with no special decorations or enchatments, or so she thought. She didn't plan to use the dagger at all. In her mind, it was useless compared to Fang and Tail, her sabre and staff.

But, then again, she could proibly auction it for a good price. A smirk came across her face as she pockets the simple dagger into her orange bag. Now it was time to study the map:



The map had no key and the drawings were old and crappy, but the cave was what excited her. Whenever it was a dungeon crawl or a cave, there is probibly tresure in there, seeing as it was the destination of this unamed map. She woul definitly get some funds for the EC and herself traveling to this destination. With a bag of food, weponds, bandages, and a mind full of greed, she was ready to leave to her destiny. What she didn't know, however, that replicas on the dagger and map can be found in hollowed-out stumpts all over Blackstar.

"To the Southern Frontier!"

[Chronos]

Ensichrys was about to enter the Corrupted Cave when he was met at the entrance by the Guivre. Rising hellishly from its prostrate position, it had some strange object in its mouth. Ensichrys opened a taloned hand. The Guivre hissed softly and dropped a rather shoddy looking map and an iron dagger into it. Patting the Guivre on the head and smiling- a rarity these days- Ensichrys unfurled the map.



"Hmmmm. Odd," he said with lengthy pauses. "This looks like it could be promising," he mumbled. He saw a different sort of promise then Leporidae. He saw the possibility of weapons or power more than riches. Ensichrys thought a bit more and decided to go through with the journey.

"Guivre," he began, "where did you find this?"

The Guivre motioned for Ensichrys to follow him. It took him to a hollowed-out stump near a large pond in the southern Black Forest. "Interesting. Guivre, I want you to go back to the cave and tell someone I'll be away for a while. Tell them I am searching for power to aid us in our cause," he ordered. The Guivre slithered off with all haste, happy to even be talking with his only friend in this realm. Ensichrys looked at the map and tapped the dagger on his beak pensively. After yet another pause he spoke again. "Mortracta," he called to seemingly no one. Suddenly, the earth beside him shifted and then exploded. Sod and earthworms flew in all directions as a mass of immense roots broke the surface, then submerged into soil once more. The visible remnant was a serene blue-flowering stem. "Mortracta, come with me. We're going on a journey to the Southern Frontier. Plenty of sunlight, not so much water. Do you think you can handle it?"

A gentle wafting breeze of a curious fragrance blew past him that seemed to say "I just drank much water. I shall accompany you."

"Good, then," Ensichrys said cheerily. "Southward!"

[Lexington_Mouto]

He wandered through the weird forest, " Darn beaver!" he cursed. He moved his long black hair out of his face. "I'm gunna skin him alive" he said as he truged on stopping at a stump. "What the...?" he asked picking the map and dagger out of the stump.
" This is going to be interesting" Alexis thought as he headed south. Being that he like going on adventures not wanting power or anything else he went only out of curiosity. He left both the map and the dagger at the stump. His hi-tech sunglasses had already scanned the map and he had no use for the dagger because he used guns mostly he walked off.

[Iman al-Rashid ibn Aali]

Iman had entered the foreboding looking forest two days before. It wasn't a very eventful couple of days, as he spent most of the time in the trees and finding food. He did, however, manage to finally make repairs to his hidden blade. An unfortunate series of events had led to it being broken in a confrontation with Blackfoot, and he'd really missed the ability to kill a target before they even knew they were in danger.

On the dawn of the third day, Iman saw something reflecting what little light got through the dense forest inside a tree stump. On closer inspection he discovered that the tree stump enclosed an iron dagger, and a crumpled piece of paper.
Slowly opening the piece of paper, he found that it was in fact what he could only describe as a crudely drawn map. He had no idea how he was going to find what the map was evidently leading to, but seeing as he had nothing better to, he turned around to leave the forest and head south.

[Kazumaru]

Kazumaru strolled through the forest near his lab, rather happy to be entirely alone and with nothing threatening his life for once. Ahead of him, he spotted a stump, and figured he should probably just sit down and enjoy nature for a bit.

He walked over to the stump, and realized that it was hollow. Inside it, he found a scrap of paper and a dagger. Eyebrow raised, he unfurled the piece of paper and examined the map scrawled on it.

"Sentinel." he said. "I've found something. A map. There's no scale on it and no key... But I get the feeling there's something good on the spot marked. If I'm not back in a few days, get ahold of the rodent, alright?"

A voice responded from inside his coat. "Get ahold of him yourself!"

Kazumaru sighed and shook his head, tucking the dagger and map in his labcoat's pocket.

The spirit made his way to the path cut through the forest, and set off southward.

[rosebarks]

Lilic was wandering, as she so often did, and happened across a stump in the wilderness. She walked over to it, seeing that it was hollowed out.

"This is intriguing" Lilic said lowly, mostly to herself. She took the dagger turning it over smiling.

"A new weapon, hmph, always helpful." Lilic said making a holster for it out of a scarf she carried in her many odd bits and pieces in her cloak that she was, as normal, wearing.

"hmm, a map..With a caveon it. This could be interesting, definitely worth looking into, at least it is better than watching the landscape." Lilic said as she grinned.

Lilic started to walk towards the area on the map as best she could with her slight understand of the place in this world.

[Coolpikaaa]

Coolpikaaa swung down from a branch above Kazumaru.He was starting to find that hanging upside down helped him think.

...or maybe it was the blood rushing to his head.

"Get the rodent for what?"

[Kazumaru]

Kazumaru looked up, grinning at the familiar voice.

"Howdy, rodent." he said. "Hey, I found a map with directions to a cave on it. Wanna go check it out?"

[rosebarks]

In the distance, Lilic saw who she thought was Coolpikaaa...And someone else who she didn't know.

"Coolpikaaa! hey!" She said as she ran over, she had yelled it. Odd that she would be in the same area as her friend.

[Coolpikaaa]

"Heck ye-"

SNAP!

Coolpikaaa fell straight down as the branch he hung from broke off.Hitting the forest floor, he scrambled up to his feet.

"Well that was embarrasing....."He said to himslef before noticing Lilic approching.He waved, not sure if she could see him from his lower point.

[Kazumaru]

Kazumaru spun on his heel at the sound of a voice. In the distance, he saw the figure he still only knew as "Crazy... Demon... Thing...".

The spirit raised an eyebrow at the pikachu.

[rosebarks]

Lilic waved back only just seeing him as she approached smiling happily as she looked at the spirit. "Hey Coolpikaaa....Who's this?" She asked.

Lilic's dress flowed with her body when she stopped as she picked up the pikachu smiling as she held him gently with a smile. "It's been a little while"

[Kazumaru]

Kazumaru watched the crazy demon thing closely. "I do not mean to offend," he said "But it's generally considered polite to give your own name before asking someone else's."

[the Drazilim]

The Drazilim is a collective organism, with a sort of segregated hive mind. They live as a heirarchial colony of highly intellegent reptosaurs living in service to a gelatenacious Hive Queen. There are many of the Leader and worker drazils, and each of then carries many many little baby immature "spy" drazils. These immature drazils have spread out over many regions of Blackstar, giving the Queen Mother a fairly good idea of what is going on in the wider world around them.

They however, for reasons of their own, have choosen to reside in a secluded section of the Southern Frontier. They would rather that people didn't even know that they were there, although they had encountered Dojodjians several times. There, They farmed and harvested Trobifants for an energy souce of considerable power, (another reason for the secrecy.)

They tried so hard to stay away from others that they now lived in a desolate, cavernous region. Beyond this area lies a volcanic region, where they have done some geological exploration and the mining of some gemstones.

The yet un-shed outer scale layer has certain fiberoptic properties that enable the individual drazils to bend the light around/though them and become virtualy invisible.
((This drazil hide, when cured and handled properly can be a sort of invisibliity cloak.))

By now, the spy drazils, who look about like little geckos hanging on walls and trees and the like, had sent the Hive Mother the mental images of the map and some sense that this might be problematic.
