Consarnit, guess what was the first thing said to me when I woke up this morning?
"Moon died in his sleep last night."
Moon, my aussie whom I've had almost all my life, died. He just up and bucked the kicket. He was the Grumpy Old Man! He was our lardgut, all our friends adored him, he was everyone's favorite...
Of course, I'm not such a big fan of dogs, but I still can't help but feel bad; he's always been around, and now suddenly he's gone. Who'll growl at the young whippersnapper puppies and steal the other animal's food now?
Hrrumph, several weeks ago he almost died, it seemed. He was stiff, his eyes were open, he wasn't breathing, etc. My parents poked him, prodded him, nothing. But suddenly he started breathing again and woke up, gah, he scared everyone.
It's like, he was given a 1-Up to get him through the castle, and he's finally reached the end. But I've got one question...
Did he find his princess? _________________ Not just a future.

When my budgie died, I was very upset.Yet he came back for a few seconds, just to fly across the room.
I think he just needed that, his ?last flight?. Maybe thats what you dog wanted, a last flight with you guys.
His princess was probably just being the family dog for a few more days.

Usually, whatever faith, religion or belief, people find peace in their death. The body is free from any worry, pain or disease. It becomes an everlasting, calm sleep.
Or as Coolpikaaa says, maybe you were his princess. The "one-up" gave him extra time with you and all the other things he liked to do. Steal food, growl at puppies.
After all, who wouldnt want a small second chance to enjoy? To tell and prepare everyone?
That is our penny of thoughts though. We do not know if it is of some help. |

I really can't think of much to say right now, meh... Stressed out about several things that I do not wish to speak of. *Dies* _________________ Not just a future.
