A Proposition

((Apologies, I appear to have become distracted the past few weeks, I did not intend to leave this so unfinished))

"Cookie delivery trucks should not be a problem, I believe we can provide you with the order within a week"

Laur replied, as she'd originally come from an organisation that had had to specialise in concealment this would be barely any problem at all.

"I do not think there is anything further for us to discuss at this moment in time, HollowEyes. If you'll follow me, I shall see you safely out"

The brown haired woman spoke as she arose from the chair, expecting the Parasitian to follow the example. She would be sure to keep what he had said in mind, and too though that there would be no harm in keeping relations polite. This had been beneficial to both sides and she wasn't going to harm it so soon.

((Ah, sorry, I should have finished this up before going away, but instead I too got sidetracked and forgot about it.))

"Thank you, Mrs. Doyle."

HollowEyes followed Laur, who lead him back out to the entrance. After exchanging farewells, HollowEyes left to return to the Corrupted Cave to inform his fellow Councilmen of the new power that he'd secured for them. They believed it to be a great deal on their part, though no doubt Laur and the Corporation was thinking the same thing.

True to her word, Laur's delivery trucks arrived within the week. Only one Council member seemed to be too deeply disappointed to learn that they weren't real cookie trucks to help out, the rest took care of unloading the various devices and storing them within the Cave. All in all, it was quite the uneventful afternoon in terms of unwanted guests, although this was just as both sides had intended for it to be.
