The Mighty Dominion of the Assembled Clans of His Almighty God Y'han.


Ieclans (Ye-Clans)


Ieclans are the main race of the Clans, chosen by Y'han to do his will, they are ruled by the Clan-Theocrat, who is ruled himself by Almighty Y'han. Life is almost worthless to Ieclans, they simply exist to do their god's will, and nothing else. Names are not used within Ieclan society, instead a person is called by their social status and their rank number. (e.g. the 17th best cook would be called Clan-Cook 17, while the 245th best soldier would be Clan-Soldier 245)

Ieclans commonly stand at around 5 foot, and are covered in a tough chitin, much like insects. They have one bulbous eye, two large horns and are humanoid. Ieclans are marsupials.

Ieclan technology is incredibly advanced in metaphyics, more specifically planar physics. Their ships move by transcending to another plane, commonly called the Nebula Plane, due to its expansive nebula cloud, remnants of a series of supernovae caused by experiments that destroyed almost the entire plane. In the Nebula Plane, portals may be opened anywhere in the home plane (commonly called the Original Plane by the Ieclans) that always open in one specific place in the Nebula Plane, this also means that to travel, ships and fleets must 'wait their turn' to prevent two portals being opened at the same time (which usually results in the portals attempting to transport each other to their respective locations.).

Ieclan society is ruled by the priesthood, who answer only to Y'han. It is dominated by religious zeal that has led them to conquer systems and eradicate or enslave their inhabitants, though they believe it is to save them from the one true foe, sin.




Mechans (Mek-Ans)

The Mechans are the most loyal of all the races the Clans have conquered, which have granted them a special place in the Clan armies. Despite their name, they are not machines, or robots. They are covered in plates, like armadillos, which at first glance appear metal, which is what gave rise to their now permanent names.

Mechans are an arachnid species, though only described so because of their 8 legs and globular body, which encompasses their face. They have three bright green eyes, and two long arms that extend from the centre of their body. The left arm almost always has a planar cannon mounted onto it, which helped give rise to the description of the Mechans as robots.

Not much is known about Mechan society, though it would seem that they operate much like a hive, with a queen. Mechans preach that to prevent the destruction of the universe by the hated ones (which they have associated with the Ieclan's foe, sin) they must spread the dominion and truth of Tagai'Tan (whom they have associated with Y'han, so that Tagai'Tan is commonly called Tagai'Tan Y'han by them).

The Mechans were one of the first races to be conquered by the Clans, seeing them as the great servants of Tagai'Tan, they surrendered before the first ship had even darkened their skies. Since then, they have remained the most loyal and steadfast race of the Clans, though their status is still seen as slaves.
