Fight of the Upcoming

[Ashen Rain]

Ashen frowned again behind her mask and nodded. "I see," she muttered, bringing her free hand up to scratch the chin of the monster's skull she wore as a mask.

"Take this into consideration, however," she continued. "You may not like the plans that they come up with, but on the other hand, some people who are not of the Evil council actually enjoy their little tricks. And, by ruining their plots, you are in turn making other people unhappy. Am I right?"

Ashen dragged her foot slightly across the dirty floor, contemplating the situation. Her armor clanked slightly in the movement, and she straightened just a bit, looking back at KC11.

"So, if the Evil Council causes problems for some people who do not like the plots, and you cause problems for the people out there who do like them, then how exactly are you sure that it's the right thing to be fighting them? If you both end up making some people happy, and other people unhappy, then how are you any different from the Council?"

[KC11]

KC11 scratched her head, then said, "Even for those who like the little tricks, I think this is best. Might I elighten you of the tricks they've done?"

KC11 took a scroll out of her pocket and unrolled it.

Rearrange other's words to make new words (With definition), thereby annoying people who doubt our abilities for evil.

the people of Gameware were forced to witness its own members suddenly taking on Gruesome Avatars, and posting about nothing but Brains and weird Zombie-like noises.

Once Blackstar Dojo had opened, the EC altered the word censors which made the entire forums complete gibberish for an entire day.

"There's even more than that." said KC11. "While some of the plans have failed, I find that these plans are dangerous to many. Who knows? Maybe the EC has figured out how to brainwash several people into liking them."

She rolled up the list and placed it back in her pocket. "Even if there are some who will... hate me after this, they will thank me someday, even if it is ages after I am dead."

Then KC fitted an arrow into her bow and walked towards the EC group.

[Leporidae]

Leporidae watched as the huge orb starting burrowing itself into the walls. She did her best to ignore the creature, but went to pushing her ears flat against her head to block out the annoying noise. As it attacked Seph, she pointed the sword at the creature, growling softly as a warning. Seph didn't seem too badly hurt, so she didn't attacked the orb just yet. Instead, she lowered her sword and softened her growl even more.

She began to hear footsteps. Someone began to approach. The Light, possibly? She grinned preparing to launch attack. The triumphant sound of the party horn, making her chuckle. A whisper passed through her head.

~Heh, she will make up for the embarrassment with her own screams.~

She was just about to jump out, when Ashen came with her wisdom. She halted suddenly, wishing to see what she will do next. While it was just words and no violence, it was interesting to hear her point out the flaws. Deciding she could be patient a little longer, Lep slunk right back and watched. Might as well have the Light realise and gloom over their doings before crippling physically by her own blade, right?

From behind KC11, another light glow shimmered as Ashen sighed.

"You sure are up to date on your facts, aren't you?" Ashen murmured as she followed after behind the cloaked girl, clanking all the while.

In a slow movement, Ashen reached out her shielded arm to take hold of KC11's shoulder. The grip was not hard, but it was enough to help Ashen catch up to the girl and bring her red striped sword up to her neck.

"However, you don't appear to have read up any facts on me." she continued. "You probably shouldn't have let me get that close, you know. I'm afraid I can't let you sabotage any plots of the Evil Council just because you don't happen to like them. It just doesn't seem like a good enough reason to me.

"So then," She continued. "Would you mind putting down the bow, and walking backwards into the darkness of the cavern with me?" Gently, Ashen squeezed the girls shoulder. "I assume it would be worth your while, if you catch my drift."

~(So you know, I'm not holding onto KC11 too tightly, so she can break free if she so chooses. I just really hope she doesn't, and she listens to Ashen... Really. >>)~

KC looked at Ashen and thought. She thought about how the EC had killed her sister, Safire, and had brainwashed her other sister, Viara. But, now that she thought about it, had they really done those things? Really, she had gone by a mear rumor that they wore black cloaks. Was that really anything to go by.

"I'll think about stopping." she said, and she turned away.

Little did she know, there was someone who did not want her to stop fighting....

KC11 launches a Stone Arrow from their bow. It goes flying straight towards Leporidae and connects!

~(Right, so I'm a tad confused now. Lep, did you change your post? And KC, is there any way you can get those arrows back if you modify yours?

If you can't and you want to change your post to make it fit in with the story line, I'd be happy to buy you another set of arrows to make up for those you used.)~

Spifen focused its attention on Leporidae.

Anything that dared challenged the orb rarely made it out alive-and the rabicat, pointing a sabre of sorts at it, looked like she was asking for instant (and very painful) death.

Spifen began to prepare itself to cast Brightflame, the most devestating of its spells.

As KC moved away from endangering the group of EC member, Ashen let the blade fall from from it's place by the girls neck. Ashen wasn't off of her guard, however- She knew that KC still held her bow and arrows, but the projectiles wouldn't be of much concern to her in this form. At least, she was pretty sure they wouldn't be.

With a small smile, Ashen took a few steps, placing her highly armored self between KC and the rest of the group, just to be on the safe side.

"So then," Ashen muttered to the rest of the group. "Now that that's pretty much over with, what do we do about that glowing thing over there?"

Turning her head a bit, Ashen blanched at the sight of the large orb being so near- and apparently moving in to attack Lep. Now this was a confusing predicament. Whatever this orb was, it didn't look safe- and it looked to be doing something that Ashen found somewhat familiar.

Casting a spell.

Ashen blanched slightly. If the orb decided to send a spell her way, she'd be incredibly effected by it in this form. However, if she changed to her more spell resistant form, her rogue form, she'd be a tad more safe.

Another problem arose then, though- what good would her rogue form be if it could not harm this creature. She frowned in concentration. She could change into her staff form, which had no resistance but no weaknesses to the orb, and try attacking it that way, but would it help? And what if KC decided to join the fight again right after she changed forms?

Time was running out now though. With a growl, Ashen's body began to glow a soft red, as the tattoos under all of her armor. Moments later, her armor was gone, and she stood now in a tight fitting black cloth outfit. Time had passed, and Ashen wasn't sure how long it would be before the thing launched a spell at Lep.

"Hey!" She shouted toward the orb, a single chain blade strung between her hands. "Over here!"

To help catch the thing's attention at the crucial moment, Ashen twisted her arm twice and let the chain blade fly. With her aim in this form, she was fairly sure that it would connect with the orb, but then again she had been wrong before...

Leporidae began to focus on the Orb, looking as if it was about to do something. What it was about to do, she didn't know, but she did knew she might want to stop it quickly.

"I say we stop whatever the damn orb is doing, or destroy it. Both works for me."

She doubted she could get very close to the orb without hurting herself, seeing as there are orbs circurling around it. The best she can do is try to prevent whatever the Orb was trying to do. She remembered that she had a water gun laying around somewhere in her pack. She sheathed her wepon and grabbed for the water gun. While it won't do much damage (Unless they have a weakness for water), it just might work

Leporidae levels the Hydro Blaster X2 at The Orb (Spifen), holding down the trigger and drenching The Orb (Spifen) and the immediate area in gallons of water.
