Help wanted

Ok, so I'm busy. remarkably busy. Things might start clearing up, they might not. It's too early to call. So I need some help.

My "co-admin" has AWAL'ed, (Absent Without Authorized Leave), so these are the positions I'm looking to fill. Or more accurately, I haven't seen him here or online, so I don't see how he's been administrating.

Co-Admin - This is for general rule enforcement, management, etc.

Code Admin - I don't have time to do all the coding I'd like with the site, so I'd like to have an Admin dedicated to coding up new features

Spriter - Ok, so art isn't my strong suit...so I outsource it. Embri have us a great lead on artwork, and I'd like someone to take it up

Right now, spooks been acting Spriter-pro-temp, but if he wishes, and if no one better comes to challenge him, he can become the Spriter

So, any volunteers?

There. Serioulsly, Why do you need requests? I dont mean to sound rude like that but you have a pretty small community here. Just pick them at random.

I would volenteer but 1. [REASON HIDDEN] and 2. If you were just going to admin a weakling like me, Then I am affraid you really are mentally insane.

Or just for mods?

I'm not too good with sprites or coding but i don't think i have ever broken a rule in my journeys around blackstar. Very Happy

I'm here, because I'm needed.
I'm also back because leaving hasn't seemed to help.
Choosing to withdraw from Admin duty was one of the hardest things I ever decided, and in the end it wasn't even a useful choice, it merely delayed the inevitable. It also made me sadder, because I missed participating in Blackstar.

You won't find me RPing anymore, at the moment, so please don't ask, but I'll do my best to keep the forums running as best as I can, as before.

Technical issues, problems et al can be thrown my way, and I'll deal with them. Chances are I'll mostly be watching over things and spriting a bit. Current project is the New Store System.

I have awesome coding skills, but no PHP knowledge. If you feel like taking me on I can learn pretty quick. Wink

It would probably have to be on a trial basis to start with though just in case I don't have the time.

I'd gladly volunteer for something but I've managed to lose count of the number of forums I moderate and trying to code and sprite for just one of them is enough to make me want to hunt down and beat with fish whoever invented php.

And something tells me whatever modifications you're working on here would be way beyond my capabilities on both counts.
