Maniquinn VS Leporidae

[Leporidae]

Leporidae was soon noticing that there was a tree stump infront of her. Turning around, there was a tree log behind her. Looking up, Mannequin is shooting downward at her. ~Oh shoot!~ She places the log in Manne's direction, so that he lands on it. She then starts shacking the log, trying to get Mannequin off.

[Mannequin]

Mannequin had not even landed on the log, breifly touched it perhaps, but not landed on it.

He had grabbed hold of the rim and pushed himself forwards, arching again in mid-air so that this time his feet were hurtling towards Lep.

Unfortunatly for her, the length of the log minus his height left her only with about 30cm's of space left untill his foot came crashing into her face.

[Leporidae]

The attack works, Lep gets a faceful of wooden feet and the log flies backwards into another tree. She flips onto her paws backwards and tries to fling Mannequin into the air with her feet and legs, kind of like a catapult.

Her reversal worked. It sent Mannequin flying into a tree, landing in a rather comicall style. He slid down the trunk slowly before collapsing in a pile at the bottom. A few muffled "Ows." are heard from the lump of wood.

Mannequin stands up and gives himself a good shake, trying to get rid of the dizzyness.

"Right, I have had enough now." He says in a rather annoyed voice. He opens a compartment in his chest and takes out a few peices. After a few moments, a jagged blade was fixed onto sqaure and then screwed into place on his arm. His gears clicked and spun, adjusting to the change, they latched onto the mechanism and powered it. He pressed the button and it roared into life, it was a chainsaw.

Mannequin swung it around, testing its weight. It was heavy, but usuable.. He charged at lep bringing it upwards, intent on cutting her right down the middle.

Lep, at seeing the chainsaw come after her, had no choice but to scurry out of there. She scrambled away from the blade, now laying on her back. However, her tail took damage, being chopped in half.

((O.O now I don't want to picture this battle in my mind anymore xD))

It was very painful, possibly painful enough to be screeching throughout the rest of the battle. She scurries farther from Mannequinn, with much anger. She wanted him dead as soon as possible, no forfeiting now. She was going to fight to the death. Lep gets back up, seeing a blood trail from where she used to be to where she was now. Using her wings, she flied up into a nearby tree. She doesnt seem to attack, though.

[Mannequin]

Mannequin easily followed the trail of blood untill he got to the tree.

It all seemed a bit obvious though. He cuts the tree down and something bad happens. So Mannequin lept upwards, cutting off three branches as he swung the chainsaw, and landed in the tree along with Lep, although she was slightly higher than he was.

He began cutting through all the branches, attempting to empty the tree of its leafy cover.

((Wait, you have me confused. Is the tree cut down or is it still alive? I can't seem to judge this and if I can't, I wouldn't be able to determin what Lep doses next.))

((Do pardon the intrusion. I believe that what he is trying to say, is that the steryotype is that if he were to cut down the tree, then he'll get ambushed or something. Therefore, what he is actually doing is jumping up into the tree and cutting the branches as he goes.))

[Mannequin]

Lep looked a little irritable at Mannequin, since he didn't fall for her trick. Deciding she might make use of the situation anyhow, she jumped up and aimed for a flying kick straight down apon Manne's head.

[Mannequin]

Manne removed his chainsaw from the tree, before swerving to the side as best he could in the small space, but the momentum plus the weight of the chainsaw overbalanced him. And he slipped and fell out of the tree again.

He dusted the mud and leaves from his body before rubbing his head.

"Dammit! Not again!"

[Leporidae]

Before, Lep gave Mannequin time to get up before attacking him again. But not this time. This time, she wasn't going to let Mannequin get away. She grabbed for her staff and pointed the hard end down at the ground. Lep jumps out of the tree, aiming the hard end of the staff to hit Manne's tummy.

[Mannequin]

Mannequin simply raises the Chainsaw to point at Lep.

It was highly unlikely that she could, but the only way that she would avoid it is if she could move completely out of the way.

Manne figured he had already won this fight.

((Heheh. Despite the fact that ICly I said I won't be forfeiting, I will forfiet for a OOC resond. Christmas break has been putting alot of pressure on me. And the more burden I have on my shoulders the less quality of my posts. Also, I have been at Blackstar less and less latley. I kind of need a break from this place for a short while, you know? We gotten in a preatty tight lock on both sides anyway So I will end it here if you don't mind. Judges, please give the finnal results! ))

Leporidae:

Believability: 10/10, A blue rabicat with a lifejacket and sabres? Niiiiice.

Powerplay: -1/10, It's a little hard to invision a rabicat picking up a whole tree log... Not much, but it seemed off.

Personality/Flair: 8/10, There are quite a few places I found that could have used a little more descriptiveness- don't learn towards the "She did this, she did that" style. Try and think about every single thing going on around the character, yadda yadda, just the simple stuff.

Cleverness/Inventiveness: 18/20, As a Mantis, you usually use your weapons to fight, so I'm being generous with this score. The martial arts moves were very great, though I would have liked to see a little of that alchemy in there. *winks* You guys did resort to throwing rocks for a ittle while...

Grammar/Spelling: 8/10, Trust me, the Google spell checker sucks. >< Mircosoft Word is the way to go. There are a few sentences that should have been joined by commas, but overall, you did well.

Believability: 10/10, I;ve never heard of a living mannequin before. Interesting.

Powerplay: -0/10, Nothing I could spot.

Personality/Flair: 9/10, Descriptive, original, and newbie aren't three words that are used in a sentence often. I have a weird thing for gears and clockwork, so I liked the ticking and whatnot. Seemed like you were really playing to win, with the chainsaw. O.O Ouch...

Cleverness/Inventiveness: 17/20, I think the disposing of braches is what really got me- in my case, I just would have lit a match and burned the whole thing down. Like Lep, you had alot of martial arts moves, and I like that kind of stuff. You both did turn to tossing rocks at each other for a few posts, which I found oddly amusing and slightly annoying at the same time.

Grammar/Spelling: 9/10, Nothing much that I could spot. Again, commas are your best friend.

OVERALL SCORE: 45/50
