Oracles
Concordat Name: Unknown
Little is known of the Oracles. They were one of the two founding members of the Concordat, and are rarely seen. They are few in number, forming a "High Council" of leadership. They are the brains behind the Alliance, all the other species are the brawn. They are physically weak, thus their need for the other species.
Veterans
Concordat Name: Coyhelli
The Veterans, as they are known by the humans, are the highest ranking military race in the Concordat. They are the other half of the founding fathers. Long ago, the Veterans were at war with the Oracles. The Oracles, perhaps tiring of the war, shared with them the myth of the Divine Ascention. The Veterans then became the bodyguards of the Oracles, thus starting the Concordat.
In many ways the Veterans are much like humans. They communicate, become protective of their troops and become angry and vengeful if other Veterans are killed.
Veterans wear energy sheilds and normal armor. They stand approximately 7' tall, with a long neck and pointed head. Their hands are claw-like, as are their feet.
Predators
Concordat Name: Leghko
Predators are the artillery unit of the Concordat. They stand almost 10 feet tall, and always wield a plasma cannon, or some other explosive launcher. The Predators wear heavy armor which makes when immune to most standard weapons.
Predators were forced into the Concordat by the superior starship technology of the Veterans - on the ground they were almost, if not always, victorious. Faced with extinction by orbital bombardment, they joined the Concordat.
Guerillas
Concordat Name: Onskoy
Guerillas are approximately 5' tall and relatively weak compared to other Concordat species, but they are relatively strong for their size. They easily walk either upright on two legs, or on all fours, but while carrying arms, they are forced to walk upright so that they may support their weapons with their hands. While trying to flee, or while patrolling without a weapon drawn, they will use their oversized arms as forelegs to add speed or stability to their gait.
They are the main force of the Concordat ground forces, being easily expendable and vast in numbers. |
