BELT SYSTEM CHANGEOVER IN PROGRESS!

Please note that the Belt System is being overhauled today, Sunday October the 22nd.

This may take several days.

During that time, your belt(s) may disappear frequently, as the old graphics and database are purged and the new systems installed.

DO NOT BE ALARMED.

DO NOT PM TheDarkPsycho or me, Embri about it. We are aware of the fact, and it is normal.

An announcement will be made when the changeover is complete.

AT THAT TIME, If you are missing a belt or Spirit Rank, PM Embri, and I'll fix you up as soon as possible.

Thank you for your patience while this major modification is underway.

THE CHANGEOVER IS OFFICIALLY COMPLETE.

RP Master ranks have been returned in most part for regular accounts, and everyone other than the Style Senseis' have been given a White, Yellow or Red belt as was deemed appropriate.

If you think there's a problem with your belt rank/spirit ranks, drop me a PM and I'll take a look.

While we are still short an Owl Sensei, and Chameleon Style doesn't have a posted set of requirements, all the other Styles are up and running.

You can now apply for a Style if you have reached Red Belt or beyond, with the appropriate Talisman from the Tribal Pool Store.

To the belt rank's Sensei I believe.

Tora-Sensei (Tiger) = TheSensei
Kamereon-Sensei (Chameleon) = Goliath_Bird_Eater
Kitsune-Sensei (Fox) = HisLordship
Kamakiri-Sensei (Mantis) = 3kul
Saru-Sensei (Monkey) = Netdroid9
Kumo-Sensei (Spider) = Embri

Actually, you don't even have to know who to apply to.

That was one of the reasons I decided to go with a Service (Talismans) based system.

Just buy the Talisman that matches the belt you want, (Jade = Green, btw, and the animals are self explanatory hopefully.)

Go to your inventory, hit USE THIS SERVICE next to your talisman, and drop in the links (if needed) to prove you meet the entry requirements, and Send it. That's it.

The message is automatically routed to the right Sensei, and it's easy to change if need be later. (should a Sensei step down and be replaced)

I have but one more question. It was said that there is a waiting period to try for a new belt. Now that you have issued the belts, could those of us who have been here long enough try for our next rank immediately, or must we wait for 4 or whatever weeks after October 22?

And also, the first of us are going to have to duel the senseis of our class aren't we?

I think everyone who's a Red Belt right now has been part of Blackstar long enough to go straight into getting their Green Belt, wait time waived.

The wait times are ONLY meant to keep people from spamming their way through the belt system. So go right ahead and apply, Goron.

As for the Belts which require *combat vs. X of X clan*, I do not know what those Sensei's are planning to do. Clearly however there must be a group of prospective Tiger and Mantis members from which previous RP's can be counted.
