Unfinished Business

[Swix]

*Fade looks at the man in the jumpsuit that had disturbed them, stared in fact*

Impossible. How could we have a son?

*She said, confusion and now barely controlled rage showing*

If you have nothing else to say, I suggest you leave. This is private, I do not want anyone else to know.

Phase ponders Fade's response, "Fade, he has just mentioned we have a son. I would not take a statement like that lightly." Looking at the man, "Do you know who, or how?"

Shaking his head, "No. I have an address, and the title, Mr. and Mrs. Tylios..."

Phase forms an uncharateristic sneer, "I can only assume they gained genetic materials. But, that was just over four years ago. Fade, have you heard that name before?"

[Swix]

*Fade almost growls, she appears to be boiling over hearing what she should have realised was the obvious. Even without emotions her DNA was not something took lightly, and they'd stolen it!*

I remember Mrs Tylios, around the same time

*Fade spits, fuming. They took her DNA without her permission? She'd even hesitated giving blood to a place that had promised her what they would and wouldn't use it for. Now feeling violated, alone and angry, with every other emotion you can think of muddling into it*

*The Sapphire Dagger in Fade's hands glows briefly, before subsiding and showing something that was blacker than a black hole inside the jewel*

*Fades emotions no longer had to be pushed or encouraged towards the balde, now it ripped them viciously away from her. To her relief, which too was immediately ripped away, Fade found her mind emotionless once again, this time without the bothersome feelings bursting to get out*

*Fade regards the Dagger, moving it as close to her as she deemed to be safe and studying the darkness that had appeared inside. Apparently unsatisfied with what it had absorbed, the darkness persisted...*

We should not allow others to possess our genetics

*Fade stated, emotionless voice once again*

[GBE]

Phase not quite prepared to drop the blade just yet, "Are you feeling better? Or, is this a ruse?"

He slightly raises the second blade, just in case of sudden movements from Fade. He'd seen an odd glow, but wasn't quite sure of what it was. His attention remained on Fade.

"Genetics are not to be tampered with. This is slightly disconcerting. I suggest, if you are well, we investigate this as soon as possible..."

I feel nothing

*Fade again merely stated, as it was fact. She no longer harboured any emotions whatsoever, they'd all been sucked in by the strange vortex encapsulated within her Dagger. Careful not to nod or make any sudden movements Fade slowly raises the Sapphire Dagger so Phase could see the darkness*

Agreed, we should investigate as quickly as we can

*The room begins to warp, it being magic itself all the weapons and decorations within look as though they are straining to break their boundaries*

[GBE]

Phase, looking at the raised dagger questiongly, lowers his sword. Slowly, each one begins to break down and disapate. He walks towards the man, and his hand reaching out for letter is given it, as the man quickly pushes it towards him, and steps back, out of complete fear.

Phase reads the letter, it merely had their names on it, the message about their 'son', the names of those who had him, and the current address of their known whereabouts, back on Earth.

"Fade, we must leave this place temporarily. Although, I intend to return. It is populated, yet lonely. It has an interesting quiet to it. It is peaceful." He hands Fade the letter. He'll ask her about the dagger in a short while. He didn't want to aggrovate any unnecessary emotions if they were still there.

Walking towards where his coat and hat lay, he picks them up, and puts them on, again, looking like a dark mysterious figure. Walking up adjacant to the delivery man, he hands him a few hundred pound notes. "Fade, I may require you to wear something more appropriate when we attempt to enter the premises of our previous aqaitances..."

*Fade hearing and seeing Phase moving around in front of her lowered her Dagger once again, and studied it. It emitted a strange, hunger of sorts...*

Oh? Do you have something in mind?

*As Fade moves to walk out, the warping room suddenly begins to give way. The swords, mat, everything that had been in here was forcibly sucked into the Sapphire Dagger. Fade merely raises an eyebrow as the decorations disappear into the thing inside the gemstone weapon*

*She decides staying put is the best option, as the objects that had been made of magic swirl around her. The vortex is quickly gone, the darkness within the Sapphire Dagger apparently satisfied another strange blue glow is emitted as it disappears. The Dagger looks normal once again, although around Fade's hand what appeared to be ice formed around the handle and her skin*

Phase stops and raises an eyebrow as the materia of the room is absorbed. He turns to look at Fade quizically, "I would prefer it if you gain full control of your dagger, sooner, rather than later..."

As he opens the door, and holds it open for Fade, "I think something along the lines of clothes belonging to a rich wife of a rich husband would be suitable. I can gain entrance with one of my guises that they have, dealings with. I am yet to introduce my wife. You, will be suitable, considering what we are about to do..."
